Step3: Fix each side of the IDU to the 19-inch rack with
the two screws. As shown above. * Normal setting for free space. When free space is closed
within one rack unit, keep the environment temperature is
lower than +40 ℃

Step1: After the I/O Board Bracket is unpacked,loosen six screws to remove the three I/O Board cards from
the bracket. As shown above.
Step2: Remove six screws fixed the 2M IN/OUT connectors to the 48E1 INTFC on the IDU installed in the
19-inch rack. As shown above.
Step3: Align the I/O board bracket to the upper position of the IDU on the 19-inch rack. Fix provisionally
each side of the I/O board bracket to the 19-inch rack with the four screws. As shown above
Step4: Put the I/O Board to the I/O Board bracket so that the gasket fits to between the I/O Board Bracket
and the connectors. As shown above. 1+0/1+1 System IDU

Step5: After checking the inserted gasket position, loosely tighten screws. Similarly put other I/O Board to
the I/O Board Bracket .As shown above.
Step7: Properly tighten the four screws (Position 5 as shown in figure above) of the I/O Board Bracket.
Step1: Fix DC-DC CONV UNIT to the 19-inch rack using the two screws.
As shown above.

Setp1: If you change to H polarization, loosen two Setp2: Check that aperture of the connection unit is
screw, rotate the Transition hub and put the HYB rotated as shown above, then fix it with the two
horizontally screws that were loosened in step1.

Step2: Check the polarization and install the HYB to the antenna by
tighten the screw. (four locations)

locations) using the Allen Key wrench.

Connect the Frame Ground (G) terminal on the IDU to the Mounting rack
with the earth cable. In addition, connect the mounting rack to the
indoor earth terminal with the earth cable and connect the G terminal
on the ODU to the ground.

*1 .In Maintenance “on” condition, every external Alarm output are masked and remote control can not be performed.
*2. Retain the present status for other control items
When the TX power control mode is set to ATPC, set it to MTPC and required level for the Pasolink link on the “Equipment setup” and “Provisioning”.
*3. Set NO.1 or NO.2 which is the same side fixed by TX SW and RX SW in 1+1 configuration)
Note: In order to measure exact performance of AGC V, it is mandatory required to set Alignment Mode to On.
1.It is necessary to set to the Antenna Alignment Mode using PC for LCT when
monitor the RX level.
2.The RX LEV MON terminal on the ODU
3.The RX LEV MON terminal must be capped for waterproof.

Step1: At the transmitting end, disconnect STM-1 signal cable from the
STM1 IN connector on the STM-1 INTFC.
Step2: At the receiving end, disconnect the STM-1 signal cable from the
STM1 out connector on the STM-1 INTFC.
Step3: At both transmitting and receiving ends, set the STM/SONET
Analyzer as follows:

connector on the STM-1 INTFC.
