Main Point:
There are two factors that influence corruption :
First is internal factors. Internal factors is factors that appear from people who is
corrupt. And that factors is like moral, for example the low of honesty, faith, etc.
And the second is external factors. In external factors, there also some factors like
politic, economy and cultural. In politic is basically politic has link with power. It
means that everyone will used some ways like corruption to get the power. And
about economy, we can see from salary. If the salary is not enough then someone
does corruption to meet the needs of his life.
And the last is about cultural. It means that this way (corruption) is hereditary by
generation to generation.
Main Point:
There are several ways that can be done to avoid the corruption : (a) reform public
administration and finance management. Reforms focusing on improving financial
management and strengthening the role of auditing agencies have in many countries
achieved greater impact than public sector reforms on curbing corruption.
(b) end impunity. Effective law enforcement is essential to ensure the corrupt are
punished and break the cycle of impunity, or freedom from punishment or loss.
(c) empower citizens. Strengthening citizens demand for anti-corruption and
empowering them to hold government accountable is a sustainable approach that
helps to build mutual trust between citizens and government. For example,
community monitoring initiatives have in some cases contributed to the detection of
corruption, reduced leakages of funds, and improved the quantity and quality of
public services.
