Dear Colleagues,

The Arab Medical Union in Europe (ARABMED) and the Executive Committees of the
Conference are delighted to invite you to the 33rd Annual Conference of the Arab
Medical Union in Europe, titled “Advances in Contemporary Medicine” which will be
held on the 28th and the 29th of March, 2018 in Crowne Plaza Hotel - Dead Sea
– Jordan, under the patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister of Jordan. This
conference is in partnership with Arab Medical Union (AMU) and in collaboration with
Jordan Medical Association (JMA).

Founded and headquartered in Germany since 1983, the Arab Medical Union in
Europe was established as a professional association of Arab doctors living in the
diaspora. ARABMED is a medical organization recognized by the United Nations as a
non-governmental and nonprofit medical organization (NGO) since 1996.

This Conference is multidisciplinary and open to all branches of medicine, in order

to bring together many doctors from all over the world to share together the latest
advances in medicine.

The agenda of the scientific program will take place over two full days, which will
include planned workshops. In addition, we will discuss the opportunities and risks
regarding the regionalization of health care and efficient supply management of the
chronically ill.

A big number of speakers, professionals and delegates in the medical field is expected
to attend this Conference from around the world, specially from Europe and the Arab
countries.

In order to maximize efforts in spreading the knowledge and the valuable material
being presented in this Conference, the Executive Committees of the ARABMED,
which is a nonprofit organization recognized by the United Nations, are willing to
deal with medical and nonmedical companies, associations and parties willing to
participate in the Conference, whether through financial/non-financial participation or
through exhibiting and conducting workshops.

Which allows such parties to exchange the benefits of this medical event and to gain
local and international awareness and recognition.

Guidelines for Abstract Preparation

A concise abstract is required. English Language only, Abstracts should summa­rize the
contents of the article in 300 words or less. The abstract should be structured in the
following format: Background and Objective(s), Methods, Results, and Conclusion(s), and it
should be as a word document.
• Title, author names and affiliation should be indicated at the top of the abstract .
• Font type : Arial, Font size11 , Space between lines, 1.15

Instructions for Poster Presentations

• Poster presentations are in English. The poster size is max. 90 cm width and max. 120
cm height
• Title, author names and affiliation should be indicated at the top of the poster.
• The structure of the poster is: abstract, objectives, methods, results and discussion.
• The text should be clear, simple and self-explanatory.
• All figures and tables should contain headings, labeled axes and legends. Font sizes
should be readable at a distance of at least 1 m.
