Part IV: Your Career Plan

The career I’m most interested in is Physical Therapy. I want to pursue this career because I love to help people.
I’ve been to physical therapy a number of times due to injuries from sports so I know what it feels like to want to
get back to doing what I love. I want to be the person that helps other people recover from their injuries or
illnesses so they can continue doing what they love. To pursue this career, I will have to attend a 4-year
university. To prepare for this career and career path, I will have to study anatomy, biology, physiology and
physics while I’m still in high school.

Part V: Backup Plan

If my plan to go to a 4-year college and study Physical Therapy does not work out because my parents are
unable to pay for school, it’s more difficult than I thought and fail, or I need to take care of a family member
after they become ill, I will most likely start my own business of being a personal trainer. To start, I would sign up
for cheap online classes for nutrition and training and so my own research. Then I would put up flyers around
town in the local food stores or anywhere else with a pin board. During this time, while I’m studying to become a
personal trainer, I would work a temporary job to make some money.
