Executive Summary: Central High School received significant damage to the school facility due to
Hurricane Harvey. The superintendent and district administration have been reviewing available
options for several months related to the long-term status of Central High School. At the time of the
preparation of this exhibit cover sheet, the district still did not have necessary information from the
district’s insurance carrier.

Recommendation: Approve Options on the Future Continuation or Merger of Central High School. If
necessary information is available at the time of this meeting, the superintendent will make a
recommendation regarding the long-term status of Central High School.
