The children should know, feel, and do the following:


 Know different measurement and purpose.
 Know words that describe time, place, size, shape, motion, etc.
 Use measurement according to purpose.
 Use words that correctly describes a thing or person.
 Know God is a God of measurement and everything is properly measured and placed.
 Follow simple instructions.
 Memorize verse.
 Memorize song.

Materials:
Ruler or Tape Measure.
Memory Verse or Song.

Suggested Verses (Please choose ONE):


“You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.”
(Leviticus 19:35)
“Where were you when i laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding.
Who set measurements—if you know? Or who stretched the measuring line over it?” (Job 38:4-5)

STEPS
(According to the need of the children and the district, you are free to change the steps)
Follow the following steps:
1) Finish singing the hymn.
2) Lead the children to loving God through prayer.
3) Tell the children that God created the heavens and earth with measurement.
4) Use Job 38:4-5 as example.
5) Tell children that God wants accurate measurement because it is righteous.
6) You can make example about buying a kilo of rice.
7) Tell children that accurate measure protects both the buyer and the seller of rice.
8) If rice is too little, the buyer is cheated.
9) If rice is too much, the seller is cheated.
10) End the example and begin activity.
11) Ask a child to stand.
12) Ask other children to guess the correct height of the child.
13) The child who has the number closest to the actual height wins.
14) Use a tape measure to confirm.
