Introduction
The performance should entail a quasi-improvised element; musicians should are influenced by live projected imagery,
as well as using a full-score version of the music, as a guide. All however within the context of other players and
the piece’s objective. Players must listen to one another, and engage with the music as one.
- Each player has a choice of bars to choose and play from for each scene.
- However, players can use ideas from other instrumental parts, or indeed play other parts entirely (including voice parts).
- Improvisation can occur at any point for any given amount of time.
- The lead pianist / conductor plays material from any of the instrumental parts.
