SUMMARY OF EMPLOYMENT

1. Since 10 January 2015 to 5 August 2017: QA/QC Engineer with Lane-Solid-


Tadmur Contracting W.L.L-Qatar
Project: Road and Infrastructure in Wakrah West MMUP Ph2 Pkg 14-Qatar
Responsibilities:
 Preparation and submission of Technical materials and obtaining approval from Engineers with
coordination of Suppliers & Manufacturers
 Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality
Management Systems .
 Reviwe & Coordinate with document control department for technical submittals, IRs , RFI, MWI,
MIR, drawings, etc to ensure compliance with project requirements.
 Liaise with the Client's representatives for the conduct of day-to-day quality related project
activities
 Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work
in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon
satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.

 Assist QA/QC Manager in conducting internal quality audits.
 Preparation of Material Inspection Request (MIR) and carry out the Inspection with Material
Engineer / Material Inspector of Supervising Consultant
 Preparation of Inspection Request (INR) for sampling & testing of Dewatering Water, Recharge
Water, Rock, Aggregate Road base ( subbase), Subgarade Material, Backfill Material, Washed Sand,
Dune Sand, Kerbstone, Paving Stones, Tactile Pavers,Masonry Blocks,Steel Reinforcement Bars,
Geotextiles, Concrete Trial Mixes, Asphalt Base / wearing Course, Prime coat, Tack coat etc. to
maintan the frequency requirement as per QCS 2014.
 providing technical advice about the suitability of materials and Coordinating with Third party
Laboratory for Sampling & testing and Supervising the Site Laboratory
 Ensure that all equipment are calibrated as per the calibration schedule and properly labeled.
 Inviting quotation from Supplier or Manufacturer for the material and from Independent laboratory
for testing of Materials
 Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required tests, record inspections and tests made pass the
Contract Plan and Contract Specifications. Report the preliminary test results to the Project
Manager,QA/QC Manager, Construction Managers & Site Engineers in case of disputes or urgency
 Conducting plant inspection in coordination with client representatives for Concrete Batching
Plant, Asphalt Plant, Concrete Precast Factories, uPVC Factory, Aggregate crusher etc..)
 Preparation and submission of monthly summary to the Consultant for Tests results, Material
Submittal, Asphalt details and concrete details.
 Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the
Contract Specifications or normal construction industry practices.
 Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and
testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the
project.
 Attend Monthly Project Review Meetings (PRM) and alert the project team of any potential
problems.
 Maintaining Environment Permit log and submitting documents for renewal of Environmental
Permit. Preparation and submission of Monthly report for Dewatering water, discharge to Sea and
Recharge to injection well onward submission of MME and Maintaning online NCR log related to
Envirmnetal and closing out with coordination of Counsultant Environment Engineer.

2. Since 18 July 2014 to 05 January 2015: QA/QC Materials Engineer with Khalid
Bin Ahmed & Sons LLC, OMAN
Project: Construction of Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Road & utilities Infrastructure.
Resposibilities:
 Involve in Quality Assurance activities of defining quality requirements in project specifications,
identifying inspection and test requirements, preparing ITP and develop the checklists for quality
inspection. also includes to conducts root cause analysis for non-conformance reports and suggests
Corective & preventive action
 To plan, develop and implement QMS. Focuses on systematically developing and communicating a
project quality policy, objectives, mission, strategies and action plans.

 Preparation/review Method statement and various quality forms (Check list) as appropriate for the
particular work.
 Identify the standards relevant to the project and determine how the project will achieve the quality
objectives through the process of quality planning
 Implement Quality Control activities to focus on identifying defects in the materials / products / work
and verifying that output conformance is at desired quality levels. Monitor and ensure the inspection
activities are performed as the project ITP.
 Daily monitoring of the Aggregate Base course (ABC) plant, Asphalt Batching Plant and Concrete
Batching Plant
 Ensure that all tests are conducted as per the specified frequency during the project execution period
in coordination with Client representative.

3. Since March 13,2013 to June 30,2014: QC/ Materials Engineer for Desert Line
Project (DLP) LLC, OMAN
Project: Dualization of Nizwa- Ibri Road Section-2 from Jabrin to Ibri Option-2

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Responsible to ensure that all materials used in the construction as per the requirements of project
specification. Recommend and advise the Project Manager on all matters regarding compliance of
Material. Organize Laboratory Technicians for daily tasks and report to the PM if any abnormality.
liaise with the Client representative after submitting technical materials submittal for the approval.
 Selecting the best Combination of Materials for the specific purpose and Testing Material as per ASTM,
AASHTO & BS to assess how suitable they are for specific purposes.

 Cordinating with Consultant to solve the problem that may arise during the construction process and
Joint inspection of construction process with Consultant

 Designing of Asphalt Mix and Concrete mix and Inform to the Plant Manager about the approved mix
designs

 Preparation, review, approve and implement the PQP, ITP and Method Statements as per Project
Specification, Project Drawings, BOQ & ISO9001.

 Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in submission of materials
for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As-built drawings etc

 Ensure that Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the Contract
Specifications or normal construction industry practices and report to Project Manager/QHSE Manager
occurrences of non-conformance incidents

 Implementation of quality control procedures and plans for providing the more efficient construction
works.

4. Since February 2012 to 13 December 2012: Materials Engineer/Laboratory in
charge of Gulf Geotechnical services & Materials Testing LLC – Sultanate of Om an
Duties & Responsibilities:

 The initial establishment of laboratory and getting accreditation & approval of various Oman
Authorities’ for the operation of Independent Laboratory.
 Preparation and obtaining of ISO 17025 accreditation from International Accreditation services (IAS).
 Supervising & training all laboratory technicians to perform the test as per the relevant international
& local standards of particular test and Ensures the availability of test equipment and their updated
calibration.
 Preparing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) associated with laboratory testing in conjunction with
relevant International standards such as ASTM, BS, BS EN, DIN etc.
 Conducting periodic self inspections of laboratory and maintaining records of inspection, as required.
 Making quotation & invoicing for the subcontract works.
 Attending meetings with client and consultant to discuss the issue related with site lab materials
testing activities.
 Updating the Company Pre-Qualification document.

Responsibilities:
 Inspection of laboratory testing activities to verify the conformance to BS / ASTM standards for various
tests for Concrete, Soil, Aggregates, Steel, Asphalt, Bitumen, and Water etc.
 Analysis and recommendations of test results, preparation of various laboratory Reports including pile
integrity test for concrete structure, evaluation of various non destructive tests, Plate Bearing tests,
Dynamic cone Penetrometer test etc and making records for all the tests separately.
 Designing of various Concrete mixers using cementiceous materials such as GGBS, Pulverized Fly
Ash, and Micro Silica with suitable chemical admixtures.
 Designing of Asphalt Mixers and performing Laboratory trial to find out the suitable mix .
 Maintenance of Laboratory Equipment & Performing In-house Calibrations.

 Regularly meeting with Contractors, Consultant and QHSE representatives to discuss the different
kinds of issues.

6. From July 2007 to June 2008: Materials Engineer at Global Star Soil &
Materials Testing Services, Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities:
 Assiting QA/QC Manager to obtain the ISO 17025 accreditation of laboratory.
 Assisting the laboratory manager to get accreditation from Dubai central Laboratory.
 Inspection of laboratory testing activities for various material such as Concrete, Soil, Aggregates,
Asphalt, Steels etc.
 Training the Laboratory Technicians, maintaining the laboratory equipments & Performing In-house
Calibrations
 Advise the Contractors about the suitability of various test methods for the purpose and conform to
the project, National and International Standards.
