Purpose:
The purpose of the analysis of IMU report is to provide valuable & critical information to EEF
management regarding gaps & issues for further actions & compliances.
Scope of Analysis:
Analysis & comparisons were made on very limited variables such as # & status of schools &
enrolment.
IMU has visited a total of 1207 out of 1436 Girls community Schools in all 25 districts of KP. The
lowest number of schools visited by IMU was 1 in Karak. Maximum of 88 schools were visited in
Dir Lower.
As per IMU report, it was found that in 1207, 169 schools were found closed. The highest
numbers of closed schools have been reported in Kohistan, Lakki, Bannu, Bunner & Nowshera
by 37, 25, 12 & 12 numbers respectively. As reported, there were different reasons for closing
these schools such as absenteeism of teachers & children in either case due to death of the
relatives, books not provided by EEF, resigned by a teacher, teacher on maternity & medical
leave etc etc. These reasons in many cases have been reported in report available for further
information. It may be noted here that 7 schools among these 169 were also reported closed to
EEF HO by DPOs.
