Conclusion

Based on section A which is Respondent Demographic, mechanical engineering

department has the most respondent among all of others department. Next,
majority of the students that are given the questionnaire are female students.
Meanwhile for the semester, most of them are from semester 2 and the highest
percentage for the race is malay students. After that for section B which is
Questions Related Social Networking Sites and Students Studies Background,
most of the students preferred using Whatsapp and for the duration time use to
surfing SNS are mostly more than 3 hours. Besides, entertainment is the main
purpose of using SNS to students. Although, most of them surfing SNS for
entertainment their current grade point average (GPA) are mostly 2.50 – 2.99 and
3.00-3.49 . While, time spent to do revision are majority 2 hours to 3 hours. For
the frequency of study, plenty of student study as need arises. Lastly, section C
Effect of Social Networking Site based on our analysis most of the students agree
that SNS helps them to stay in touch and to receive announcement and
information.

Descriptive Table
From a sample of 20 students, the highest frequency is 4.7 which is help them to
stay in touch and help them to receive announcement and information.
Meanwhile, the lowest frequency is 3.35 which is distract them from their studies.
Descriptive Analysis
From the analysis above, most of the respondents agree that SNS help them to
stay in touch and to receive announcement and information. While, less of them
disagree that SNS distract them for their studies.
