Summer grass aches and whispers

it wants something; it calls and it sings; it pours
out wishes to the overhead stars.
The rain hears; the rain answers; the rain is slow
Coming; the rain wets the face of the grass.

Lesson Assessment

 Students are able to define personification and why and how it is used in poetry.
 Learning objectives are assessed by learners’ oral responses and performed
worksheets.
 Students demonstrated eagerness to learn.
 Unfortunately, I spent so much time on the presentation stage of the lesson that
we had to rush through the other activities. I think I had too much vocabulary to
cover. Next time, I will start with the specific information on the back of the
application.
