Enpro Private Ltd, are the Promoters of the Company. The Company & its subsidiary operates
Domino's Pizza brand with the exclusive rights for India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, The
Company is market leader in the pizza segment with a network of 1,126 Domino’s Pizza
restaurants across 264 cities (as on October 26, 2017).

The Company is the market leader in the organized pizza market in the pizza home delivery
segment in India, The Company has strengthened its portfolio by entering into an agreement with
Dunkin' Donuts Franchising LLC, for developing the Dunkin' Donuts brand and operating
restaurants in India,

Founded in 1960, Domino´s Pizza is the recognized world leader in pizza delivery segment
operating a network of company-owned and franchise-owned restaurants in the United States and
international markets. Domino’s Pizza’s Vision illustrates a company of exceptional people on a
mission to be the best Pizza Delivery Company in the world. Domino´s started out small with the
legendary Tom Monaghan who bought his first pizza restaurant and called it Dominick’s.It was
re-christened Domino´s Pizza in 1965. However, in 1978, the 200th Domino´s restaurant opened,
and things really began to cook. By 1983 there were 1000 Domino´s restaurants, rising to 5000
in 1989. Today, there are more than 9000 franchised and company owned restaurants in the
United States and 60 international markets Domino’s is listed on the NYSE under the symbol
"DPZ." The Domino’s Pizza® brand was named a Megabrand by Advertising Age magazine. It
was also named as "Chain of the Year" by Pizza Today magazine, the leading publication of the
pizza industry. In 2009, Domino’s ranked number one in guest satisfaction in a survey of
consumers of the U.S. largest limited service restaurants, according to the annual American
Guest Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Domino’s has expanded its menu significantly since 2008 to

The Domino's franchise started out as just one tiny store. It was purchased and started by
brothers Tom and James Monaghan in 1960. At that time, the restaurant was known, not as
"Domino's," but as "Dominick's Pizza" and was located in Ypsilanti, MI. The two brothers only
worked as a team until 1961, when James traded his half of the business to his brother for the
price of a Volkswagen Beetle. In 1965, the name "Dominick's" was traded for "Domino's."

The second Domino's pizza store was opened in Ypsilanti in 1967, officially starting the
Domino's franchise. Since that time, the chain has experienced record breaking growth: By 1978,
200 Domino's restaurants had been opened, and by 1983, the chain boasted 1,000 openings as
well as restaurants in Australia and Canada. By 1985, Domino's was the fastest-growing chain in
the United States, with additional locations in England and Japan.
Nowadays, Domino's pizza continues to grow, with over 8,000 store locations worldwide. The
company has continued to develop its business model by featuring many non-pizza menu items
and incorporating new customer service options such as online order. Domino's has also been
listed in Entrepreneur magazine's list of the top 10 best franchise opportunities.
NATIONAL SCENARIO OF PIZZA HUT

Pizza Hut entered India in 1996, and opened its first restaurant in Bangalore. Since then it has
captured a dominant and significant share of the pizza market and has maintained an impressive
growth rate of over 40 percent per annum. Pizza Hut now has 95 outlets across 24 cities in India;
and employed nearly 4,000 people by end of 2004. Yum! has invested about US$ 25 million in
India so far; this is over and above investments made by franchisees.
Yum! Brands Inc is the owner of the Pizza Hut chain worldwide. A Fortune 300 company, Yum!
Brands own Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, A&W and Long John Silver’s
restaurants worldwide. Yum! Generated more than US$ 25.9 billion in worldwide sales in the
year 2016, and has more than 33,000 restaurants in over 100 countries.
According to company sources, Pizza Hut is moving beyond the metros and foraying into 12 to
13 new markets including Trichy, Nagpur, Bhubhaneswar, Thiruvananthapuram and Pondicherry
to increase penetration.
Pizza Hut has increased its visibility by launching a well received TV campaign aimed at the
young crowd. It has formed partnerships with recognized brands such as Nestle and Pepsi. It also
holds regular promotional campaigns targeted at children and uses these alliances to offer
packages during these campaigns.
The local supply chain for Pizza Hut was developed by Yum! and currently 95 per cent of the
ingredients they use are locally produced. They now import very few specialty items like
pepperoni.
Pizza Hut is one of the first international pizza chains with purely vegetarian dine-ins at
Chowpatty (Mumbai), Ahmedabad and Surat, which also serve Jain menus. Pizza Hut has even
opened two all-vegetarian restaurants in the western state of Gujarat to cater to the Jain religious
community, whose members prefer not to eat at places where meat is served.
INTERNATIONAL SCENARIO OF PIZZA HUT

Pizza Hut is an American restaurant chain and international franchise founded in 1958 by Dan
and Frank Carney. The company is known for its Italian-American cuisine menu
including pizza and pasta, as well as side dishes and desserts. Pizza Hut has over 16,000
locations worldwide as of 2015, and is a subsidiary of Yum!

Pizza Hut was founded in June 1958 by two Wichita State University students, brothers Dan and
Frank Carney, as a single location in Wichita, Kansas. PepsiCo acquired Pizza Hut in November
1977.

Before closing in 2015, the oldest continuously operating Pizza Hut was in Manhattan, Kansas,
in a shopping and tavern district known as Aggieville near Kansas State University. The first
Pizza Hut restaurant east of the Mississippi River opened in Athens, Ohio in 1966 by Lawrence
Berberick and Gary Meyers.

Pizza Hut's international presence includes Canada and Mexico in North America, India (not in
the Pizza Hut division, but in the Yum! India division), Bangladesh, Pakistan, Australia, New
Zealand, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Spain, Turkey, South Africa,
Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil, Peru,
Ecuador,[9] and Nicaragua, and its Asian presence includes Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab
Emirates, Qatar, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei
Darussalam, China (not in Pizza Hut division, but in the Yum! China Division), Hong Kong,
South Korea, Myanmar, and Macau. Pizza Hut was one of the first American franchises to open
in Iraq.

The company announced a rebrand that began on November 19, 2014. The rebrand was an effort
to increase sales, which dropped in the previous two years. The menu was expanded to introduce
various items such as crust flavors and eleven new specialty pizzas. Work uniforms for
employees were also refreshed In 2017, Pizza Hut was listed by UK-based company Richtopia at
number 24 in the list of 200 Most Influential Brands in the World
FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF PIZZA HUT

According to Yum! Restaurants International, India is amongst the top five growth markets for
Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut is also experiencing double-digit growth in India and hence is confident
about expanding its operations in India.
Pizza Hut hopes to increase the number of Pizza Hut outlets in India to 180 by the end of 2008
from the present figure of 130. The expansion programmed will make Pizza Hut the fastest
growing western restaurant chain in India. In addition, Yum! plans Pizza Hut to be in 42 cities by
end of 2018, and 55 cities by end of 2020.
According to an article in Financial Express, the market size of the pizza segment is around US$
87 million and currently growing at the rate of 15 per cent to 17 per cent per annum. According
to Pizza Hut sources, most of their outlets are financially successful, encouraging further
expansion. In India, the average investment for each outlet is US$ 275,000-335,000 and is borne
by the franchisee.
Pizza Hut is believed to have close to 50 per cent market share of the organized pizza-retailing
segment in India.
