Watching TV

Thesis:

Is it important to know what your kids are watching? Of course it is. Television can expose your
children to things that you have tried to protect them from, especially violence, drug abuse, etc.

Argument 1:

One study demonstrated that watching too much TV during the day or at bedtime often causes
bedtime resistance, sleep onset delay and anxiety around sleep, followed by shortened sleep
duration.

Argument 2:

Another study found a significant association between the amount of time spent watching
television during adolescence and early adulthood, and the like hood of subsequent aggressive
acts against others.

Argument 3:

Meanwhile, many studies have found an association between kids watching a lot of TV, being
inactive and overweight.

Recommendation:

Considering some facts above, protect your children with some following tips:

1. Limit television viewing to 1-2 hours each day.

2. Do not allow your children to have a TV set in their bedrooms.
3. Review the ratings of TV shows that your children watch.

Why is It Important to Choose the Accredited School?

Most of teenagers need to go to school and there are a lot ofschools over there.
Nowadays, schools grow to offer plenty of choice; private and state ones. However it is a hard
choice since there are many factors which need to be considered before making the selection.
Some will be influenced by friends; because some friend got to certain school than we go to
there too. Some prefer to choose certain school because ofthe closer distance. In fact, the primary
decisive matter for selecting school is whether the school has been accredited or not.
Why is important to choose an accredited school? Well, accredited schools have an edge
over the unaccreditedschools. This label of Accredited School has an impact inemployment
opportunities. As result, if there are two or morestudents with similar qualifications,
the student who comes from the accredited school will have an edge over the other
candidate. Student from an accredited school has more open door than student with
an accredited one.
Many students select certain school depending more on short term factors like friend
influence and short distance from home. It is not bad since commuting actually needs much cost.
Choosing school which is closer to home will save time, energy and money. However if that
school is not accredited, the time and money spent along studying seems to be waste in the long
term because it could become a limiting factor in gaining future opportunities.
Accredited school is not the only factor which will drive student’s success. Personality
and characterization are very important too. However a student with good personality who comes
from an accredited school is better than the others

The novel land of 5 Towers work of Ahmad Fuadi’s which was a best seller in this novel, tells
the story of five friends, he lived in a boarding school that is Hut Madani (PM). This best seller
novel is the first novel of a trilogy which was charmingly tells the story of a typical boarding
school education world, complete with all the trinkets of life the santrinya.
Alif Kevin was a very wanted HIGH SCHOOL school in Bukittinggi West Sumatera with
examinations which are pretty good. But her dream seems shattered, destroyed not a trace,
because Amaknya does not allow. He wanted a school at Madrasah Aliyah Alif which berbasik
religion, citing Amak want Alif became Ustad (Cleric). Halfheartedly, Alif Amaknya wishes to
receive a religious school.

The advantages of this novel is to change our mindset about the cottage life just studying
religion. Because in the novel other than learning the science of religion, it also studied the
public such as English, Arabic, art etc. The lessons that can be learned is never underestimate a

Advantages and Disadvantages of Falling in Love

Have you ever fallen in love? How does it feel? Does it give you more strength or weakness?
Many people will say that it gives them more advantages while others may say that its
disadvantages are pre dominant for their loves’ live. So, what are the advantages and the
disadvantages of falling in love? The following discussion is trying to give you a better vision of
the advantages and the disadvantages of falling in love.

The first advantage of falling in love is that you have someone by your side, someone to share
life's experiences, and someone who will always support you. Besides, love makes life more
exciting, colorful, and enjoyable. You will also be healthier physically and mentally when you
have someone who always cares about you. Another advantage is that you can also experience
the greatest mysteries of life when you fall in love. Lastly, having someone who loves you can
motivate you to be a better person because you will always want to make him/her proud of you
and you'll have someone around you who can help you.

On the other hand, falling in love also has some disadvantages. The first disadvantage is feeling
confined or trapped. It happens when the percentages of love are not balanced from both people.
Also, sometimes, expectations result in disappointment. The disadvantage is that this condition
often makes you down and loss your spirit to continue your life. In this case, falling in love can
also add drama to your life.

Love will always have good and bad effects. It is only maturity which can manage these two
effects wisely. So, you may fall in love every time but don’t have a relationship unless you have
been mature enough to manage your feeling not to be too dramatic when you fall in love with
someone.
