YT Lesson 3

God’s Eternal Covenant

Abraham
Recapping:

The law of life in the Genesis record states that all life must come from
preexisting life, meaning that all life must come from its own kind. There is only one
composition or structure of a seed body of humanity ~ flesh and bone.

God’s Eternal Covenant that He made with Himself, declared in the heavenly
revelation, states that God’s plan is for a creation of humanity in His image ~ material
and visible (flesh and bone). And God’s plan for His creation of humanity is that they
might become sons of God ~ material and visible~ in His image after His likeness
(glorified body) ~ Eternal and Righteous.

God must then have a Seed (Christ) of Eternal life as all life must come from
preexisting life. Bodies of Eternal life must come from preexisting life. Eternal life cannot
be created. Life eternal ~ Spirit being of Deity can however share His Life with the body
that had been prepared.

It was absolutely necessary that the Covenant Son come in a body prepared for
Him in order that the mortal body could and would die. So that God should raise it up a
body of flesh and bone ~ a deathless body of Eternal life.

There is only one composition or structure of a seed body of humanity ~ flesh

and bone. Flesh and bone is a creation, and flesh and bone must come from preexisting
life. Eternal life is not a created life. Eternal life is life that is shared. Life Eternal (God)
shares Eternal life for the body.

As we learned from our last lesson, the birthed Son of God could not come from
man’s seed, as death must have no claim on the body of the Seed through sin.

Hence, by the Wisdom of God, the Covenant Son was first birthed in a seed coat
body of flesh and bone and blood ~ God took the living cells of flesh of the womb of the
woman and prepared a body ~ in the likeness of man ~ sin apart.

Born Again:

As Jesus’ body was not dead because of sin, death would have no claim on His
body ~ any ownership over His body to be destroyed and perish.

Nor would the body of the Son of the Covenant suffer corruption (to return to the
elements), Jesus had the promise of His Father on the matter. “Thou will not leave my
soul in hell, neither will thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption” (Acts 2:27; Psalm
16:10).

1
YT Lesson 3

Thus, raised out from the dead, the birthed Son of God was raised the First
Begotten Son ~ “born again.” Born again is a term that refers to the resurrection of the
body of seed. That which is “birthed” and that which “dies” is a seed of flesh.

The day of Jesus’ begetting is the day of His resurrection as the Scriptures
declare (Psalm 2:7, Acts 13:33, Hebrews 1:5, John 1:14; 3:16 and Revelation1:5).

Thus, from the preexisting life of God’s Seed of Eternal life, God provided the
way ~ the only way for Life eternal to have an image and sons in His likeness ~ through
His Seed.

First is the natural ~ flesh, bone and blood, afterward the spiritual ~ flesh, bone
and spirit life. The Eternal body for sons of God would be brought forth from an
Incorruptible Seed ~ a seed of flesh and bone of Eternal life, immortal and imperishable.

The Begotten Son did not create a body of Eternal life ~ Eternal life cannot be
created (eternal is eternal). All life must come from preexisting life and He does not
reproduce Eternal life. He shares Himself ~ He is Life Eternal. Man must believe in the
glory of the Son of the Covenant. Believe that Jesus is God come in the flesh.

In this way ~ by faith believing ~ God would have “born again” sons of God
sharing His image.

Each person born in a body of human flesh, of the seed of man, would be offered
the hope of Eternal life through a new birth of the incorruptible Seed, Christ Jesus ~ a
flesh and bone body of Eternal life.

Amazing Grace:

Now, as amazing as the bestowing of the Father’s love on His creation of

mankind to be called sons of God is, what is even more amazing, is that before there
ever was a virgin to prepare the body of the birthed Son of God in the seed of the
woman and before there was the confirmation in the Old Testament Scriptures declaring
this plan of God for His creation of humanity ~ all was first declared in the heavenly
revelation of God’s Eternal Covenant in the stars.

The heavenly revelation is not expressed in the configurations of the stars but in
the meanings of the figurative message of the star names, with their signs. “Seen” in
the figurative message of the star names in the sign of the virgin ~ Virgo is the
manifestation of the wisdom of God in hope of Eternal life promised in the Seed of the
woman ~ illuminated to the whole world.
God puts the luminaries up in the heavens and declares His plan before He even
has a creation. God puts that message up in the heavenlies to declare the glory of God
and the righteousness of God to illuminate the whole world. What is the message that is
illuminated? “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).”
In this lesson, we are going to consider the stars with their signs in the
constellation of Virgo. (Virgo pdf available for download).

2
YT Lesson 3

Jeremiah 10:12 says, “He hath made the earth by His power, He hath
established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His
discretion [His will – pleasure].”

God designed, placed in sequence, gave color, and named the covenant star
signs in the heavens to prophesy His Eternal Covenant message (Psalm 147:4).
We live in a dimensional world (globe). The heavens are stretched around the
earth like a curved canvas. The sequenced order set in the heavens cannot be altered.
The one-dimensional drawing of a circular star chart with the figures of the 12
signs of the Zodiac and decans is not a multiple of pictorials but one pictorial of 50
figures expressing God’s pattern of the law of recurrence (this would include the sun,
the luminary of the moon and the figurative message of the covenant ~ 48 constellations
with their decans = Jubilee). What is the law of recurrence?

The Law of Recurrence:

The Law of Recurrence in Hebrew literature is when an author gives an
executive summary so to speak and then fills in the specifics and the details of the
message or the person.

In God’s Eternal Covenant, the law is not speaking of the reoccurring of events,
but a recurrence of a person, the Son of the Covenant, He who is (He always is), He
who was (He came in time), He who is to come (He is coming again) ~ the Eternal.

When looking at the pictorials of the star chart ~ the “right and left” as well as the
reading order of the decans of the pictorial, gives expression to the figurative messages.

Order is everything. To “read” God’s Eternal Covenant, as displayed on the star

charts out of order, would be like starting a book at the end of the story or in the middle,
which would be very confusing. You wouldn’t have a clear picture as to the plot.

For example:

The star names on the left side of the figure always speaks of the humanity of the
Birthed Son of God. The star names on the right side of the figure always speaks of the
Begotten Son ~ the Son of Glory.

You cannot separate the Birthed Son of God from the First Begotten Son of
God. Each “pictorial” figures The Man Christ Jesus, the LORD of Glory. In typology, the
right hand is symbolic of power and fellowship and the star names also bear witness.

Virgo:

We are going to be looking at the sign of Virgo because this sign pertains to
God’s Seed coming in the flesh.

3
YT Lesson 3

Star names in Virgo include “Ear of Corn” or the “Seed of Corn,” “The Seed,”
“The Branch Who Shall Come Down” or “Who Shall Have Dominion,” “The
Deliverer” or “Branch Who Cometh,” “The Son,” and “Gloriously Beautiful.”

Other sign names include “The Virgin,” “Maid or Virgin,” “Pureness,” “The
Pure Virgin,” “An Ear of Corn,” and “The Place of the Desired Branch.”

In the pictorial of the star chart, the virgin woman is holding a branch in each of
her hands. In her left hand, she holds a branch of grain in a downward position; in her
right hand, she holds the same branch minus the ears of corn lifted upward. The right
hand speaks of Deity, God the Son.

The figurative message of the star names of the constellation (Virgo), identifies
Him who is to be the Seed of the woman ~ the Son given (the One who comes down),
with the prophecies of Scripture as “The Branch” ~ the Coming One who called Himself
the corn of wheat (John 12:24) that falls into the ground and dies in order to bring forth
fruit of Eternal life ~ bodies of flesh, bone and spirit being, bodies of glory in the image
of God.

The Branch is a title referring to the Messiah ~ the King of the Jews, of the nation
Israel. Thus, the Messiah is “The Branch” of the family tree of the sons of Israel. He is
the bough of Life – the incorruptible Seed. He is the Word of God. All of this is displayed
in the heavenly revelation and confirmed in the word of God.

The three constellations (decans) associated with the sign Virgo are Coma,
Centaurus and Bootes. Each decan constellation fills in details of the Person and Work
of the Covenant Son announced in Virgo and must be read in the correct order of the
pictorial.

Decan 1 ~ Coma:

The first decan in Virgo is “Coma.” The decan is known as “The Desired” or
“Longed For.”

Star names identified with “Coma” are “Who Bears” and “The Virgin Who
Carries.” The decan names emphasize “the Desired” or “Longed For” ruler of the
nations.

The star names and star-chart drawings of the sign of Virgo, the virgin, and her
decan “Coma,” the virgin, reveal two women ~ one Seed. This begs the question of
how is it that two virgins are in the sign of Virgo. How can there be two women and only
one Seed?

In the figurative message of the star names in the sign Virgo is the
understanding that the woman figured is the nation Israel; and the decan “Coma” is the
Jewish virgin mother Mary, who conceives and bears a son ~ identified in Isaiah (7:14;
8:10) as Immanuel, “God with us.”

4
YT Lesson 3

Immanuel is Spirit Being of Deity clothed in a garment of flesh and bone of her
seed. Thus, the child born to the Jewish Virgin, Mary, prepared in the womb by means
of the power of the Highest overshadowing her is the “Son” given, the “Branch” of the
family tree of the nation Israel (Isaiah 9:6) ~ the “Longed For Son,” “the Desired” of
all nations.

Figured in the star names is the King /Priest raised out from the dead to rule the
nations of God’s Kingdom. The Sovereign of heaven above and earth beneath is the
Branch.

Israel’s Messiah, Jesus, the Christ of God ~ the covenant Son is not yet
recognized or acknowledged by the nation (Israel) or other nations as “the Desired” or
“Longed For.” He is nonetheless the universal ruler of all the earth ~ He is God’s
Authority − the heavens declare it.

When the “Longed For” “Son,” “the Desired,” returns to set up His kingdom of
God on earth, Israel on that day will look on Him whom she has pierced, and mourn
Him, as her only son (Zechariah 12:10, John 19:37).

As a regenerate nation, born of His Seed on that day, she will be the virgin that
the sign of Virgo declares she is. In her history as a nation, Israel played the harlot and
had many lovers; but on the day of her redemption, she will be a virgin who has never
known a man and receives her “Longed For” and “Desired” King.

Decan 2 ~ Centaurus:

The second decan in the constellation is “Centaurus”, also known as “The

Despised Sin Offering.”

Several star names identified with “Centaurus” are the “Heretofore” and the
“Hereafter,” “The Pierced” or “Who Pierces” and “The Appointed Dies,” and “The
Bruised.”

Jesus as the “Despised One” – the despised sin offering rejected of men,
“Pierced” - would not appear as a conqueror at His first coming, but “Hereafter” - at
His second coming, all that has been accomplished by the grace of God will be made
manifest.

At His second coming, God will destroy all enemies with the final destruction.
Death, being the last enemy (1Corinthians 15:26). The One who was “Pierced” will
Pierce, “The Appointed [who] Died”, “The Bruised” ~ He will come as the warrior of
Righteousness. He will be declared the Conqueror.

Decan 3 ~ Bootes:

The last prophetic revelation in the constellation Virgo is the third decan
“Bootes.” Bootes is also known as “The Herdsman ~ He Who Is Coming.”

Star names identified with “Bootes” are “The Shepherd’s Crook,” “The
Preserver” or “Guardian,” “The Pierced,” “Who Bruises,” “Who Separates,” and
“The Most Beautiful.”

5
YT Lesson 3

A shepherd is a guide to His flock. He subdues, rules, and governs them. The
tool of the shepherd’s authority is his rod and staff. The shepherd’s rod and his staff are
the same instrument, but they are used differently.

The instrument of the shepherd is a “branch” that has been cut off from its life
source. Cut off, the branch is known as a rod. The shepherd’s rod is a weapon used
against enemies and his staff is the symbol of authority to discipline his flock. The
shepherd’s staff shows the concern and compassion that he has for His flock and is a
symbol of comfort and longsuffering.

Have you ever thought about the staff of God’s authority and discipline as being
a symbol of comfort and long suffering? When we think of the staff of discipline, usually,
we only think about the discipline. But God’s whole goal is the peaceable fruit of
righteousness that will be administered because of the discipline. And in that, is the
comfort of God for the one being disciplined, and His long suffering for us.

“Bootes” is the resurrected Shepherd King/Priest, “The Branch” – “The Son,”

who comes to be the guardian of His own. “The Branch” of the family tree, the rod of
God’s authority, becomes the staff of comfort and longsuffering.

The reigning power and authority of the kingdom will be peace and
righteousness. This kingdom will have absolute rest from its enemies.

The Shepherd King/Priest will be the guardian of the ~ flock or household ~ of

the sons of God.

The sickle pictured in Bootes’ hand with its star names is figured at the end of the
kingdom age when the kingdom goes into eternity. There will be a final housekeeping.
God will deal with all of His enemies.

And so the story continues in the heavenlies…

Throughout the Covenant, the story is laid out. And right from the beginning,
before you have the creation of man, God’s stars illuminated God’s Covenant.

Timeline:

Let’s consider the timeline that has developed the last couple of lessons. In
Eternity Past, God made a Covenant with Himself for a kingdom of sons of God, a royal
priesthood. And we have seen that sons of God come from Seed. God put this plan
~the revelation of it ~ in the luminaries.

So God makes this plan in Eternity past, before there is a creation. Then on the
fourth day of creation, as a result of separating light from the darkness and creating the
great light (the sun) to rule the day and the lesser light (the moon) to rule the night, God
created the dimension of time (Genesis 1:14-16).

Prior to sun, earth, and moon rotations, and orbits, upon which we base our
seconds, hours, days, months, seasons, and years, there was no definable time as we

6
YT Lesson 3

know it today, only eternity. With the creation of the light holders comes the revelation
of the plan manifested in the heavens.

Moving forward in the timeline in God’s Eternal Covenant, where He is getting

ready to set in motion that which the heavens declare, we come to God’s man through
whom His Seed Christ will come. When the fullness of time was drawing near for God to
send forth His Covenant Son made of a woman (see Galatians 4:4), God in His
foreknowledge had just the man for the task.

God has a man through whom His Seed Christ will come. In order to have a
Covenant Son, there has to be a nation. God has somebody in mind from whom He can
make Himself a nation ~ Abraham.

As we take a look at Abraham, we need to remember that generations and

generations have passed from the manifestation of the plan in the heavens to
Abraham’s day.

Recorded in the heavenly revelation since day four of creation is Virgo with her
first decan Coma ~ He who is, Centaurus ~ He who was, and in Bootes ~ He who is
coming. So that man is without excuse, he knows exactly who God is and what God is
going to do.

Thus, from the creation of the first man to Abraham is 20 generations. Many
more generations will pass before God’s Seed, Christ, will be birthed.

Abraham:

We are first introduced to Abraham in the genealogy of Noah’s sons in Genesis

11:26. The wonderful thing about the man Abraham, first called Abram, was that he was
an ordinary every day man. There was absolutely nothing special about him in terms of
what the world would consider quality “star power.”

As a matter of fact, he was an idolater who worshiped the host of heaven. He

had no idea who the God of Glory is. But he had a desire. He wanted to know the God
of Glory and he also had a great need (seed).

In the east where Abraham was from, to be childless was considered a great
shame. Abraham had no seed as his wife Sarai was barren (Genesis 11:30).

God, knowing that this man Abraham would command his children and his
household to keep the way of the LORD to do justice and judgment, appeared unto him
in the land of Mesopotamia ~ in Ur of the Chaldeans (Acts 7).

God promised the man that He would make of him a great nation, and that He
would bless him, and make his name great, and that he would be a blessing to others.

7
YT Lesson 3

Not only that, God promised that He would make of this man a nation of kings
and priests and would provide land to disperse them on, and all the families ~ all the
nations of the earth would be blessed by him (Genesis 18:18,19).

Genesis 12:

Basically, the instructions given Abraham in Genesis 12 were simply, you follow
me and I’ll do all that I promised. The LORD had told him “Get out of your country, from
your kindred and from your father’s house unto a land that I will show you” and the rest
as they say is history.

Trust and obey. You can imagine the thrill it was when the God of Glory
appeared to him with the wonderful announcement of His wonderful plan!

Following God by faith, not knowing where he was going, Abraham came to the
land of Canaan, which the LORD gave him in promise for a Land of Promise.

In Genesis 13 and 14 there is a lot of living that Abraham does, and he

experiences much of the faithfulness of God. Finally, in Genesis 15, after years of
following ~ the LORD “seals the deal” for all that He promised Abraham. The chapter is
long and full of figurative symbolism.

God would make for Himself a Covenant People ~ a nation, and give them land
to be disperse on, which they would receive through inheritance.

The people would be of the family tree of Abraham and from that tree “The
Branch” would come.

The LORD signifies His promises to Abraham as authentic with the witness of a
twofold testimony. First ~ is God’s Eternal Covenant in the stars with their signs (Gen.
15:5). Second ~ is the blood covenant made on earth signifying the Blood Covenant
made in heaven (Gen. 15:9).

Within the twofold testimony given to Abraham, a singular truth is manifested. In

God’s Eternal Covenant written in the heavens, all is done outside of time, purposed in
heaven and in eternity past. In the cutting of the Covenant, one sees how all will be
carried out in time upon earth.

So thus far, Abraham leaves Mesopotamia and he is waiting for the promises of
God…following, following, following…living, living, living (Gen. 12-14). Now in Chapter
15 God is going to “seal the deal” that was promised before he left Ur of the Chaldees.

Genesis 15:1a, 5a:

“After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying,
Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” “And He (God)

8
YT Lesson 3

brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou
be able to number them: and he said unto him, so shall thy seed be.”

Thus, the LORD came to Abraham in a vision and then brings him forth to “look
now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them.

But first ~ we need to remember, in Genesis 11 the whole earth was one
language because they were one family ~ the sons of Noah.

…Having found a plain in the land of Shinar and dwelling there they built a city
and a tower. The purpose for a tower, which reached into the heavens, was for
worshipping the host.

The creation of humanity changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an
image made like to corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed beasts and creeping
things (see Romans 1). They changed the meanings of the figurative message of the
names of the stars with their signs!

That too, is what Abraham had understood ~ until that night under the stars
with the LORD. Abraham having begun to have a transformation of thinking since he
left Ur of the Chaldees is about to have his understanding enlightened to the knowledge
of the glory of God.

Stars with their Signs:

The Hebrew word for “tell” and “number” have the same meaning “to recount, to
relate, to declare.” The LORD is asking Abraham to tell Him, to relate to Him the
meaning of the stars with their signs “if thou be able.”

There, under the stars with his Master, the eyes of Abraham’s understanding was
enlightened, that he might see the prophetic outline of God’s plan in His Anointed Son,
as Abraham stood there looking up and recounting the stars in their order.

Unfolding each of the heavenly signs in the stars, Abraham saw a picture of a
prophetic event in each sign concerning the Covenant Son ~ the Coming One, as God’s
plan of redemption unfolded.

There Abraham stood in awe of God Almighty in the wonder of the thought of the
Coming One on the throne of an established Kingdom, and willing subjects from all
nations, and then the LORD finished part one of the testimony saying to him, “So shall
your Seed be” (Gen.15:5).

Galatians 3:16 “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He
saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of One, and to thy Seed, which is Christ.”

The One who was Heir to all things was to come through Abraham’s loins. The
Covenant Son ~ God’s birthed Son would be a son of a descendant of Abraham’s seed.

9
YT Lesson 3

God would give Abraham a son (Isaac) for the dust seed of the nation that would
bring forth Him, the Heir of all things (Rom.4:13; Heb.1:1-3). Abraham was not to be
childless. The Heir was to be born of a virgin (Is.7:13-14). The virgin would be a
daughter of a descendant of Abraham.

The nation, to come of the seed of Abraham, was purposed to be the head nation
of the whole kingdom on earth (Deut.26:19; 28:1, 13). Abraham’s Heir was to be the
King and His Kingdom would last forever (Is.9:6-7; Dan.2:44; 7:13-14; Lk.1:30-33).

Can you imagine? It is too wonderful! There stood Abraham, a former idolater of
the host of heaven, now enlightened to the truth in God’s Eternal Covenant declared in
the heavens ~ “the heavens shall declare His righteousness” (Psalm 50:6).

After Abraham had understood that which the LORD had revealed to him in the
vision concerning his Seed, he believed in the LORD and the LORD counted it to him
for righteousness (Romans 4:3).

Genesis 15:6:

The verse is a play on words. Abraham is to count the stars and the LORD
counted what Abraham counted and believed ~ as righteousness.

Righteous:

What does it mean to be counted righteous? Righteousness is an attribute of

God and only God. Believing in the LORD, Abraham saw in the heavenly revelation the
truth of God’s Eternal Covenant and God counted it to him for righteousness.

Righteousness is the gift of Grace ~ it is the power of God unto salvation shared
with His sons of God to rule over the lawlessness of the self-will of man. Righteousness
is a state of being and the evidence of sonship.

Which brings us to an interesting thought. Abraham followed God many years

and learned of God many things, but not until he believed God ~ believed in His
Anointed Son, did Abraham become a son of God.

After all those years of following the LORD, Love led Abraham right into His
arms, safe and secure. Generations later, the twelve constellations of the heavenly
revelation of the Eternal Covenant would come to be identified as the family crest of the
household of Israel. Each of the twelve signs will come to be identified as the family
crest for the 12 tribes.

This concludes our lesson. If you’d like to prepare for the next lesson ~ please read
Genesis 15:7-16.
