Title: “Rainwater as a Substitute for Tap Water in Watering Plants”

Rationale:

Water is widely used in common households. It holds up 70% of the Earth’s surface and
60% of the human body. It has the greatest influence on all living organisms since all living
organisms depend on water for survival. It is found almost everywhere on Earth. It is also
essential for various life processes such as photosynthesis for plants and many more.

Almost all human activities require the use of water. We all have different sources of
water supply. Though water is plenty, it is not always available when needed. Water is not
always constant. It also runs out which means that we do not have an endless supply of water.
There are countries on Earth facing situations such as water crisis and water shortage which
deprives them to drink clean water and increases the risk or potential of getting an illness from
drinking unsafe water.

The purpose of this advocacy is mainly to conserve the use of water through the use or
rainwater instead of tap water in terms of watering our plants. Saving the consumption of tap
water can make a big difference on saving our water and saving our planet. Thus, we should
make our old habits to good ones.

Objectives:

1. To minimize the use of tap water.

2. To learn what is water management.

Goals:

1. The goal of this advocacy is to aim a better grasp of understanding and learn on how to
be responsible of our own water consumption.
2. Another goal of this advocacy is to be wise when it comes to spending water.
