Spend sometime today thanking God for his Friday 12th Pray for the King's Meadow Project. Pray that the community
faithfulness, love and hope that He gives at the start of a New Year.
Tuesday 2nd Pray for our brothers and sisters at Abbey Hill and Adelaide
Place Baptist churches and Aberdeen Christian Fellowship.
Wednesday 3rd Thank God for the opportunity to share and develop
friendships with the folk in Dovecot through "Singing Together" once a
month.
Thursday 4th Pray for the joint Building group and the Kings Meadow project,
that in everything that takes place He will be honoured and all will seek His
leading.
Friday 5th " When you come to the edge of all the light you have and are
about to drop off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that
one of two things will happen; there will be something solid to stand on or
you'll be taught to fly" Patrick Overton. Thank God that he is always there
for us and has a good plan for us.
Saturday 6th Psalm 150:6. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord. Pray as you feel led.
Sunday 7th Pray for our service today, for our visiting speaker and for the
children going out to JAM.
Monday 8th Pray for our leadership team, Ian, John, Bill and Linda at the
start of a New Year, as they meet tonight.
Tuesday 9th Remember our brothers and sisters meeting together at
Airdrie, Alexandria and Alloa Baptist churches.
Wednesday 10th Pray for all the school chaplains in Peebles, pray a
blessing for them as they minister and meet pupils, students and teachers
in all the schools in our town. Thank God for this opportunity to share His
Good News.
Thursday 11th Pray for our brothers and sisters in the other churches in
Peebles. Pray for a growing unity to share the gospel in our town.
will be blessed and be able to see God's love through our presence and
work there.
Saturday 13th Deuteronomy 33:27. " The eternal God is your refuge and
underneath are the everlasting arms." Thank God that whatever is
happening in your life His arms are around you, holding you. Spend time
relaxing and enjoying His company and love for you.
Sunday 14th Pray for our service today, for all who attend and for Ian as
he brings us God's word. Pray for the children in JAM as they look at "God
is Love" and how we can share God's love. Vicky's Tearoom meets this
afternoon, pray for safety for all involved and a good time of fun and
friendship.
Monday 15th Pray today for Alness, Alva and Ardbeg (Rothesay) Baptist
churches. Pray also for Marylee Anderson (Chaplain at Aberdeen
University).
Tuesday 16th Pray for all the Christian unions and Chaplaincies throughout
the UK's Universities as they minister and support students in good times
and bad. Pray for those who lead, that each centre would be welcoming and
a place where God's Love and Good news is evident to all.
Wednesday 17th Be still today in the presence of the Lord. Be encouraged
that your prayers are heard and can make a difference. James 5:16.
Thursday 18th Pray for those working alongside the many broken families
in our land. Pray for wisdom, compassion and energy and stamina as they
seek to help and protect those whose lives are fractured and broken.
Friday 19th Pray today for your neighbours. Ask God to show you how you
can bless them.
Saturday 20th Pray for the work of BMS and our mission partners Victor and
Caroline in Guinea. Pray for the work of Vision Ministries in Kibera slum in
Kenya.
Sunday 21st Pray for all who come to our service today, that we will all hear
the Lord speaking and then act on what he says to us. Pray for the children
as they look at God's faithfulness and how we can stay faithful to God's word.

Monday 22nd Pray today for Arran and Ayr Baptist churches. Pray also for
Graham Bell (Chaplain to HMP Glenochil).

Tuesday 23rd Pray for all those Christians working within the Prison system.
Pray for opportunities to share the Good News and Hope that our God offers
with their colleagues and inmates alike.

Wednesday 24th Pray for our Governments, both at Holyrood and

Westminster. Pray for all involved with Brexit talks on both sides.

Thursday 25th Peebles Churches Together prayer event is taking place

tonight. Pray that as we all come together to pray and worship there will be
a real sense of unity amongst us.

Friday 26th As you are out and about today thank God for all the signs and
promise that spring is on its way. Spend time praising Him for the beauty and
wonder of this world.

Saturday 27th Take some time reading through the church directory. Thank
God for each person named, for the friendship and gifts that they bring to our
PRAYER DIARY
church. Thank God for those he will bring to our fellowship, pray that all
who come to our church, young or older, will feel loved, valued and will meet
Jesus.

Sunday 28th Pray for our service today and for the children as they go out
to JAM as they explore God is patient and how we can be patient like Jesus. JANUARY 2018
Monday 29th Pray for Bathgate, Bearsden and Bellshill Baptist churches and
for Nick Blair, Chaplain of Merchiston Castle School.
