De-mystifying The Mechanics of Magick

There is absolutely no reason to put esoteric information into code, metaphor, or

indecipherable symbols anymore. Much has been written in the occult of the past
centuries but too much of it goes over the heads of the layman.

It is time to demystify the obvious and visit briefly in this treatise what exactly is
happening in the real world and not in the limited box of unreality most people dream
about to live their lives in.

Magick - a term coined within the last century, is a modern and often misunderstood
name for any natural change. Plain and simple.

Nature has it's own laws and principles and there are many different planes and
dimensions that make up the natural universe/multi-verse we exist within.

If there exists any fundamental rule of life, it goes as follows:

C You are born with free will; However, you can not act outside of the rules of nature's program which
you belong to.

The laws of nature differ between dimensions and planes of existence and all “magickal”
operations, all process' of change and transformation, occur within the laws of nature of
the particular dimension in which they exist.

Correctly understood, if anything is to transform or be made anew it must occur within

the parameters of a particular natural law owing to the dimension said thing exists
within.

Now let it be understood to the student, that the terms paranormal, metaphysical, or
mystical and etc... these are definitions used when people do not understand a particular
natural law or parameter of natural operation. This illustrates how those individuals are
completely unaware or ignorant of any other dimension to reality besides the physical
plane.

There is the law of cause and consequence within natural operation.

This cause-and-effect is the mechanical operation of magick.
This is a program which flows mathematically from the Divine (or “source of nature” if
you prefer).

The force that initiates change is Will; Thelema. No big secret there, now realize however
that the strength of willpower can range from simple obligation to powerful drive or
passion to create.

The magician is the one who understands the tools they have at their own disposal,
meaning all the different psycho-spiritual elements within themselves. A good example is
how the element of emotion can amp the will or intent for the desired result.
Creative change happens directed by our own inner will or the will of that which is
external to us (nature's program, as example, which is generated from the Divine).

There exists a delicate equilibrium between the macrocosm that is the natural multi-
verse and the microcosm that is the world inside us. What is external to us holds bearing
on the inner changes within and thus it is that equally what us people carry within
ourselves gets reflected outwards into the environment around us.

Nonetheless, the operation of causing change and transformation is a natural principle,

whether it be by our own will or of something else, or of someone else.

It is only through understanding the nature of consequence that we come to comprehend

why something changed and what caused it to do so. We have to learn to see causality.

If you want to change something, by your own will, you have to understand what it is
and how it can be affected in order for it to transform or be changed. You have to
understand what specific effect will produce a particular change when acted upon by an
outside or internal force.

You may have an idea, for example, and you want to make something.
You then gather anything you might need to exact that idea or create it; Whatever tools
used to materialize your idea into our atomic, Euclidean third-dimension.

This is the creative act under will, of uniting subjectivity (an idea) with objectivity (an
object or thing).

Even an emotion can be evoked or created in some way through some conduit like thus:
You brought a thing from the mental dimension, through understanding it's cause, and
created a corresponding associative emotion to manifest in the astral which then has it's
own physical effects seen as a response in an individual.

No doubt there are these occult principles applied with advertisements and political
propaganda now days but the more conscious one is of these occult principles, then the
better one can take measures for defending themselves against them.

Let it be clarified: Magick is better defined as - causing a conscious change.

This is because we are only referring to that which is changed/transformed through the
conscious will of an individual and not solely through mechanical operation of nature
(although it is the will of the individual at times to exploit and manipulate nature's
mechanical law in order to cause change).

All the tools to accomplish this are different to varying degrees among individuals,
cultures, traditions, etc...

Western magickal operations usually differ from Eastern traditions however they often
retain some original elements but throw in a mix of other things as well.

Again, when people don't understand why something happened, why something changed
or transformed, they call it “mystical, magical, metaphysical, miraculous” and all other
sorts of names to try and conjure the idea of something taking place which transcends
the average human comprehension.
With this being the case, magickal studies have lost allot of validity since people throw in
all sorts of ideas that don't belong to a particular system.

People corrupt a pure occult science with unsubstantiated beliefs based on subjective
ideas and not their experience with the truth itself (usually because they have none).

People try to make magick into something it isn't and waste much time also.

In many instances throughout history we even see people becoming afraid of what they
don't understand and reacting unconsciously with anger evoked through fanatical
dogmas and belief systems, or even reacting with violence.

There is nothing mystical, unrealistic, or magical as if to be watching illusionists upon a

stage between two curtains, simply because we do not posses simple understanding of
the laws of the universe greater than ourself.

When we do understand though, the laws of the dimensions to which we belong

(however unseen those things remain to the average person) it is then by our own will
and obligation we can then use these natural laws to create whatever it is we want to
make as a result of employing these laws in our operations.

The goal of an occult student is not to obtain special magical powers and other similar
things popularized by Hollywood, but rather to get over oneself (transcend the animal
ego/psychological identity). It just so happens that special occult forces/powers manifest
themselves to the realization of the student when this psychological transformation
occurs.

This means to know yourself (true Being), understand the truth, and realize the truth
regarding reality doesn't have to reflect what your own misunderstood, subjective idea of
what you think the real truth should be.

Stop reading ideas popularized on the internet, such as “ the real occult powers that rule
the world come from shape-shifting reptiles from the Draco constellation” and other
similar stupidity. While the people who start those ideas may posses a great deal of some
truth, it is however the case that they make the rest of their stories up based on
unsubstantiated ideas that hold no basis in objective reality.

The only truth about magick and the occult you will ever really have possession of will be
your own experiences with what is real – which is something that transcends the realm of
intellectual idea.

That being said, let us conclude this lesson by understanding that if you don't know
yourself and how your own psyche operates, then you are in trouble and headed for a
hard time of being manipulated by people smarter than you.

Although there are different lights to awaken to, the best is the knowledge of yourself
and your place in the universe around you. Then you'll understand magick.
