CONTENT ANALYSIS : Richard Feynman was a famous American physicist ‘The making of a
scientist’ is a memoir by Feynman about his interactions with his father and how he became a
scientist. Richard father taught him everything in an interesting way. By arranging bathroom
tiles he taught patterns, the basic principles of mathematics.

Teacher talks about the lesson ‘ The Making of a
Scientist ‘ science and its importance in day to
day life and how interesting to study science if we
relate it with day to day experience. Teacher
presents the title of the lesson as PowerPoint
presentation

INTRODUCING THE TOPIC: Teacher talks about


Richard Feynman and shows his picture on a
slide.

MICROPROCESSING OF INPUT:
Teacher reads the first three paragraphs of the
lesson with proper stress, intonation and
pronunciation.

TRACK READING: Teacher asks the students to


read the passage silently put a’
 ! ‘marks while they keep track of the reading
and check glossary to find out the meaning of
unfamiliar words.

SHARING AND UNDERSTANDING OF PARAGRAPHS


IN GROUPS:
Teacher asks the students to read the passage and
share their ideas with peers.
