Dear Madam:
Greetings of peace!
It is our honor to submit to your good office this letter requesting permission to
establish a chapter of the Bible Readers Society International (BREAD Society), at
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. The BREAD Society is an association of students
from different universities nationwide. It is also a non-stock, non-sectarian, non-profit,
non-government, socio-civic organization registered at the Securities and Exchange
Commission (S.E.C. REGISTRATION NO. A200108181).

development of the moral values of the youth, as mentioned in Article XIV Section 3(2)
of the 1987 Philippine Constitution. It is our desire to help educational institutions in
this noble task by encouraging students to read the Bible, help them study, understand,
and practice its teachings.
We are very hopeful that this humble matter will merit your positive response.
Respectfully yours,
PROOF OF ACCEPTANCE
In this connection, I will faithfully and conscientiously fulfill my duties, preserve and
defend its constitution, adhere to the mission and objectives of the organization, and
consecrate myself to the service of God, of the nation, the University, and of the Bread
