The Lopifit, one of the latest cycling innovations, is an electric walking bike recently introduced to the United
States. The cheap mlb jerseysbike was paladar invented four years ago (2012) by Bruin Bergmeester in
Holland and this year Lopifit US distributes to the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Bergmeester started the out building the customized bikes in his home on evenings and weekends and explains
that “the bike started as a small Park idea when I was training in the gym. How can I use the treadmill
outdoors? What about a treadmill on wheels? So, from my living room I started to make my
first Lopifit Systems and took my exercise outdoors.”
After sitting down inside at work all day, he wanted to find a way to get outside into the fresh air and

???exercise at the same time. So Bergmeester found a way to combine a treadmill with a bicycle for practical
outdoor exercise. The first two-wheeled electric treadmill, called the Lopifit, is available in the several
countries and now, North America- click here to view all the worldwide dealers. According to Bergmeester,
the Lopifit takes “no more effort to walk than a walk in the park”.
The term, Lopifit is derived from wholesale nba jerseys the combination of three words. First, stem from the
Dutch word, “lopan” that translates to “walk” combined with “pi” for the technical aspects integrated into the
bike and finally “fit”, as the bike is designed to encourage healthy living.
The Lopifit‘s electric motor has a range between 30- 50+ miles per charge, with a display bar to show the
battery status. The Lopifit is a totally new way of moving. The electric assist in combination with the
adjustable multi speed gears is boosting your walking pace up to the speed of a regular bike. Depending on the
gear selected, the Lopifit travels speeds between 4 -17 mph.
The Lopifit comes equipped with an advanced Shimano
Nexis transmission, LED lighting, a powerful Quantum electric motor and a convenient luggage carrier. It is
built with a strong steel frame and is available in six colors.(Black, Royal Blue, Orange, ?????Fire Engine Red,
Silver, and White).
When you are walking on the Lopifit, you push the treadmill backwards with your feet. A sensor registers the
movement of the treadmill and gives a signal to an electric device which will activate the motor. The motor
now supports you to continue the walking movement. Using the brake will shut off the motor immediately. If
you are going downhill, a free wheel function is activated.

Meet the Lopifit—a half bike, half treadmill that brings the world of cycling and walking
together.
The scooter-like contraption—the first of its kind in the world—was invented by Bruin
Bergmeester, who of course hails from the bike-friendly Netherlands.

"When I was talking on my treadmill in my fitness room one day I thought, 'Why not
bring the treadmill outdoors?'" he recalled to the Epoch Times.

Bergmeester and his wife built the first five Lopifit bikes in their living
room, InsideEVs reported.

With six gears and an Quantum Motor that gives the bike a range of 34 miles on a
single charge, the Lopifit is another reason to leave your car at home.

"The Lopifit is a totally new way of moving," the company boasts on its website. "With
the electric assist, it takes no more effort to walk than 'a walk in the park.'"

Not only is riding a Lopifit faster than walking, as Lopifit marketing manager Rob van
Ooijen says in the video below, "You go 25 kilometers (15 miles) an hour so you get
more distance with a Lopifit."

"And it's more interesting than normal walking," he added.

To get moving on the Lopifit, all you have to do is walk at a normal pace to push the
treadmill belt backwards. An onboard sensor registers the movement and activates the
motor to propel the bike.

As for the specs, the Lopifit's frame is made of steel and comes with LED lighting and a
luggage carrier. The bike is 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) in total length with a 28-inch front
wheel and a 20-inch rear wheel.

While the bike first debuted in 2014, it really took off in February 2015 after professional
skateboarder Bam Margera posted a video of the Lopifit on his Facebook page.

The video went viral, clocking up more than 84 million times to date. The TV personality
captioned alongside the video, "Walking Bike—Buy me one!"

The bike retails at €1,899.00 (around $2,100) and comes in four colors.

Lopifit Bicycle
The invention, created by Lopifit founder Bruin Bergmeester, is an electric walking bike whose
concept came about when Bergmeester was working out in his garage one day and thought to himself
how nice it would be to use his treadmill outdoors where he’d be able to enjoy nature while he was at
it. That’s when the idea of a treadmill on wheels first came to mind. It would be years before his
design concept would come to fruition. But from the moment he took it outdoors it gained worldwide
attention and a faithful following of Lopifit users, converts from walking and bicycling.

Lopifit Features
The walking bicycle comes with an electric assist, as the designer calls it, in the form of a “powerful
electric driven Quantum Motor wrapped in a solid frame made of steel.” This allows users to
walk/ride up to four times faster than if they were simply plodding along on foot without any
additional effort. The assist, in combination with the gears, boosts a rider’s walking pace up to the
speed of riding a bicycle. Not only is this new invention a good, healthy way for you to get your
exercise but it’s good for the environment and looks like a lot of fun.

How Lopifit Works

When you hop on the Lopifit, you begin by pushing the treadmill backwards with your feet in a
regular walking motion. From there a sensor registers the movement of the treadmill and signals an
electronic device to activate the motor. From that point on the motor will support you to continue the
walking movement. That’s it. It’s a very simple yet ingenious design. If and when you need to stop,
engaging the handbrake will shut off the motor immediately, and going downhill activates a
freewheel function so you don’t careen out of control.

Lopifit Extras
You can see from the pictures the bicycle has been designed with a “luggage rack” for a little
carrying space, which adds to its convenience. It also features LED lighting on front and back to
ensure maximum visibility at night so you don’t get hit. The built-in battery is good for a maximum
range of 55 km, which is just under 35 miles of riding/walking time, before you need to charge the
Lopifit. It also offers a display to show your battery status, so you can keep track of it and not run out
of juice while you’re on the go.

13. The Third Thumb

The Third Thumb was designed by Royal College of Arts alumnus Dani Clode.
This toolresembles a prosthesis, but its purpose is not to replace lacking limbs: on the

Back to the past: TOP 10 Best invention

of 1980s
Mar30by ilab14

Things were invented and therefore we are able to enjoy them. We don’t think we even
stop to think about what these inventions are because it has become an innate part of
our daily lives. Let’s try and focus on the inventions of the 1980s. There were many
significant innovations and inventions of the 1980’s .

We choose TOP 10

1. SPACE SHUTTLE– The first american space shuttle named columbia was launched
on april12th 1981. The space journey lasted 54 hours and 21 minutes and was man
controlled.

2. CD/ COMPACT DISC– Sony and phillips joined forces to come up with this one. It
may seem like a simple invention but go try using cassette tapes and you will respect cds
all the more.
3) The INTERNET Because of the relatively short time since its birth, the importance of the
Internet has still not been fully realized. Starting as several separate communication networks in
the 1970′s and 1980′s, what we call the ‘Net is now coalescing into a single mass of all
information to which any connected computer has access. No longer is information limited by
location, and no longer is it only available the privileged few who can afford it. Imagine my
surprise when my research uncovered the fact that it can be used for things other than porn.

4. DISPOSABLE CAMERA– In the old days you had to buy film every time you took
pictures but with this little camera you had a ready made camera loaded with film.

5. APPLE MCINTOSH– An amazing company a true leader in pcs. Now they have
ipads, ipods, and iphones. When it all began they were perfecting desk tops.
6. HEPATITIS B VACCINE– What is there to say. Any invention that cures or treats
any disease is definitely worthy of any top 10 list.Way to go.

7. MICROSOFT WINDOWS- It changed the way we used computers completely.

Prior to this program being invented there was utter confusion on your computer.
8. CELLULAR PHONE Motorola created the first mobile phone, Motorola DynaTac,
in 1983. However, this device used analog communication.

9. FIRST 3D VIDEO GAME– Most games in those days were one dimensional. When
3d was brought to this game it set in motion what we now have with sony and microsoft.

10. HDTV- HIGH DEFINITION TV- What is so great about this invention is that it
set all tv manufacturers in motion to improve and seek perfection.
