(after singing)

I must say that this class has

a beautiful and golden voice.

That is true!

Replaces means it takes the

of Noun/s used in a sentence.
Also keep in mind that
pronouns should agree with
its antecedent in terms of
gender number and person.

Who can read what (students raise their hand)

Antecedents are?

Cherry went to the store.
She bought tomatoes and

repetitive because we keep

sentences better? (students raise their hand)

That’s right!

Who can enhance these

sentences using Pronouns on
board?

Yes, _________. (student responds.)

Very good!
Let’s give 5 claps to Ms./Mr. (clap 5 times)

in place of the nouns. And
that type of pronoun is called
Personal pronoun because
they refer to people.

Personal Pronoun came in

three types.
Please read. (students read in chorus)
That is right.

A subject pronoun is used in

a place of subject in a
sentence.
Subject is the doer of the
action in the sentence.
For example: I saw Rachelle
yesterday.
In this sentence, what
Personal Pronoun is being
used? (the students respond)

I is a subject pronoun
because I is the doer of the
action in the sentence.

Instead of using I, we can

also use the subject pronoun
We (We saw Rachelle
yesterday.)
Mr. _____, give us a
sentence using Subject (student answers)
Pronoun.

Very good Mr.____!

So in your sentence the
pronoun you used is ____
and it is a Subject Pronoun
because it is used in a place
of subject in a sentence.

Object Pronoun, read ______.

(students reads)
For example:
Rachelle saw them yesterday.
In this sentence, what
pronoun is being used?
(students answer in chorus)
Correct!

And them was used as an

object pronoun
because_____. (the students read)

That’s right!

How about Possessive

Pronoun? Kindly read_____.
(a student reads)
It means that you show
ownership.
For example:

It means that this school
belongs to me and my family.
The same meaning when I
say “This is our school”.

answer. You don’t need to
answer in a sheet of paper
because I will just call names,
