Course Overview

Many years ago, politicians, company presidents, celebrities (if they felt they can afford it) were a
select few, who would utilize security when they were traveling. Currently, that mentality has
drastically changed. Executive Protectors are used for family members, celebrities, judicial personnel
and many other professions. Many of today’s athletes are currently using Executive Protection while
traveling. We all are aware of the reasons, a large increase in Executive Protection has occurred.
Since the increase of terrorist’s attacks, and a rash of incidents involving the nations celebrities,
Executive Protection is a well sought after profession. However there are many Executive Protectors
in the country that are know as “The fly by night People” these individuals may look the part, but
when faced with a serious situation, they are over run or defeated, leaving their client in harms way.
This happens most of the time because such protectors are not properly trained.

The Executive Protection program is an integrated academic and practical training curriculum,
consisting of classroom instruction and practical shooting exercises with simunitions. The Executive
Protection course will also include the following areas:

• Overview of Personal Security

• Working crowds at special events
• Use of personal weapons
• Use of Secret Service Techniques
• Use of State Department techniques
• Practical formation drills with SIMS
• Shoot Don’t shoot with SIMS
• Kidnapping awareness
• Practical Kidnapping with SIMS
• Handling Paparazzi and media

Admission
Courses are open to all sworn police personnel, armed licensed security officers, active military along
with licensed executive security personnel.

Mandatory Attire
Day 1 & 2 BDU or Duty uniform.
Day 3 Dark Suit, white shirt, conservative tie, shoes and overcoat.

Weapon, holster (duty holster and concealment plain cloths hostler, 3 magazines, SIMUNITION weapon
conversion kit, personal protection (shatter resistant eyewear, knee and elbow pads, supporter and
cup), gloves, clothing appropriate for climate and conditions and a water bottle or other hydration
system. Simunition ammo will be provided for you.

Certification
Upon completion of a final examination, attendees will receive certification.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Ten hours of class participation and attendance at Strategic Security Corp.’s Global Training Center
equal one (1) CEU.

Certification Program Discounts

CPPs, PCIs, and PSPs receive a $25 Discount per course upon presentation of credentials
from ASIS International.

Team Discounts
Register three or more attendees from the same organization and receive a 15% Discount on the
course.

Tuition must be paid in full prior to attending any course. Strategic Security Corp. will accept check,
money order or credit card as form of payment. Checks must be made payable to Strategic Security
Corp.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

To receive a 100% refund, you must notify SSC GTC in writing at least 60 days prior to the start of the
course. To receive a 50% refund, you must notify SSC GTC in writing at least 45 days prior to the start
of the course. A full tuition penalty is charges for unattended courses canceled less than 45 days prior to
the start date of the course.

in an accredited academic institution. All courses are hands on and involve academic as well as practical application. Each trainee
