The dimensions of the tub are 3 m X .6 M X .25 M with its total liquid carrying capacity of 450 liters approx. With such a
construction the probability of receiving at least 3 immersions per front foot is 100% and the probability of receiving at
least 2 immersions per rear foot is 95%.

There is a Pre-Bath tub before the treatment tub before the treatment tub for cleaning of cow feet before it goes into the
treatment solution. Pre-Cleaning of foot reduces the contamination rate of the treatment solution hence reduces the Foot
Bath Treatment Solution Change Cycle.

There is the 3 meter gap between the Pre-Bath Tub and the Treatment Tub. This helps in avoiding the transfer of water
into the treatment solution. This ensures consistency in the treatment solution over successive cow pass. Cows tend to
defecate when entering foot baths. This way Pre-Bath Tub also prevents the Treatment Batch from contamination due to
defecation.

The tub has been designed using 700 microns

of Plastic membrane which prevents the
support material from attack of treatment
solution (Which Includes Copper Sulfate,
Formalin, Zinc Sulfate, etc.) and water. The
floor of the tub has thick rubber like ribs to
prevent slippage of cows during walking.
