The word Wazeefa literally means amount. The
word is generally used as a descriptive noun for
specified wages, gifts, specific recitals, etc. Allah
Ta’ala has mentioned in many places in the
Qur’aan the recitals (Wazeefas) of many Prophets
alayhis 'salam at the time of their difficulties. Such
recitals are significant and beneficial in removing
Affiliates one from similar difficulties.

YA-JABBAR : PROTECTION FROM TYRANTS
Anyone who reads this beautiful Name of Allah
226 times each morning and evening, he will be
safeguarded against the oppression of tyrants and
despots. If engraved on a silver ring and worn, the
wearer will inspire awe in the hearts of people.
YA-MUTAKABBIR : FOR HONOR AND
DIGNITY
The constant reciter of this Name of Allah will be
granted honour and dignity. If read excessively
before any task, it will be accomplished - insha
Allah.
YA-KHALIQ, YA-BARI, YA-MUSAWWIR :
FOR HAVING CHILDREN
If a barren woman fasts for 7 days and each day,
after making iftari, reads Al-Baari-ul-Musawweru
21 times, Allah will grant her male children insha-

YA- QAHHAR : TO GET RID OF WORLDLY
LOVE
One who is materialistically inclined should recite
this Attribute of Allah excessively. Allah's love
will become ingrained in his heart.
YA-KHAFID : TO FULFILL NEEDS
Anyone who says this Attribute 500 times, Allah
will fulfil all his needs and remove all his
difficulties - insha-Allah.
YA-BASEER : FOR EYESIGHT
Allah will grant strength to his eyesight and noor
to his face if a person reads this Name of Allah
100 times after Jumma Paryer.
YA-HALIM : FOR BARAKAH
If a paper on which this Name is written, is soaked
in water and such water sprinkled on anything,
barakah will be imparted to such a thing and it will
be safeguarded against all calamities.
YA-SHAKUR : IN FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY
Recite this name 41 times daily for any difficulty
--financial, physical, spirituaL or mental. Allah
Ta'ala will remove the difficulty - insha Allah.

Anyone who is dismissed from his post, fasts for 7

days and each day says this Beautiful Name 1000
times, such a person will regain his Job with honor
and dignity - insha Allah.

YA-SHAHEED : FOR DISOBEDIENT SPOUSE

OR CHILDREN

Anyone who has a disobedient spouse or children

should place his hand on their forehead and repeat
this Beautiful Name of Allah 21 times and blow on
them. They will soon become obedient - insha
Allah.

YA-MAANI : TO RESOLVE DIFFERENCES

BETWEEN HUSBAND & WIFE
Reciting this Beautiful Name of Allah 20 times
lying down on the bed will remove any differences
onehas with ones spouse. All disputes will also be
settled. Instead, a strong bond of love and affection
will result.

HAZRAT INAYAT KHAN ra on WAZIFA
Besides meditation, each Talib is given special
instructions suited to his need while journeying the
path toward Unity. One such form of instruction is
the Wazifa, or repetition of sacred phrases for
various purposes.
If it be asked what is the purpose, it may be
answered that, as the purpose of all rain is to return
to the ocean, so the purpose of every soul is to
return to God. Some drops unite in little streams,
to flow down the river which ultimately loses itself
in the ocean. So the practice of each Wazifa may

Wazifa is both positive and negative, to build up
faculties which are necessary and to remove
undesirable qualities. So Sufis use Wazifas in

the perfection of love, harmony, and beauty, as the
perfection of all qualities, and as the perfection of
perfections. If strength is needed, strength comes
from God; if love is required, God is love; if one
must perform justice, God is Judge and Forgiver.

Wazifas may be repeated audibly or silently in the

performance of any act or duty in life. By this
means the devotee draws from God the help he
needs, attuning himself to the qualities of God at
that moment. So besides the regular practice of
Wazifa, a specified number of times as assigned to
the Talib by his teacher, so one may meditate upon
the Wazifa at all times and use it even when it is
no longer part of one's spiritual exercises.

Sufism is to bring souls to God-realization. Allah

is beyond all attributes and qualities, being all
essence. Understanding this, every breath can
become a meditation wherein one puts full
dependence upon Allah, and there will be no
moment which will not be a meditation, no
moment of separateness from God.

Member Subhanallah Brother Musalman an excellent thread.
Reciting these wazifa's will give a true Nisbah
(connection) as well as a great bond. Wazifa's
spiritual properties (like all Dhikr) are very deep.
The reciter will be able to turn his face away from

It is of great assurance to know that we can

It is stated;
That one day, while The Noble Prophet
(Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)
(p.b.u.h.) was sitting in the Mosque of Al-
Madinah, Hazrat Jibrail came and said that
"The Almighty Allah quoth Salam and said
that the Dua-e-Jameelah is being sent for
thine followers". The Noble Prophet (Salla
Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (p.b.u.h.)
enquired, How much is the credit for it"?
Hazrat Jibrail said " Whosoever recites it or
keeps it with him, his sins; may it be like the
foams of a river or like the sand of a desert ,
that person shall be forgiven and at the time
of his death the pains shall be eliminated by
the Palm of Almighty. An Angel would
protect him in the grave. till doom's Day.
Alhamdo Lila-he Rabbil Aalamin wal aa-
furqaan qebato lil Mattaqeen was Sala-to was Sala-
Senior Member mo Ala Rasoolehi Mohammadin-wa Aa-lehi
wa As-habehi wa Ahle Baietehi wa Az-wa-
jehi wa Zurriya-thei Ajmaeen. Be-rahmateka

Subhanalah! The 99 names of Allah, they all have
Barkat but they all have there special meanings, so
inturn have there special uses in different ways.

Allaahu Akhbar 34 times x3
and Kalimah Tamjeed once.
Finally, recite Durood Shareef as much as you can.
