Spectra Precision Laser AG401 Laser Transmitter for

Agriculture: Now Available
Trimble® Agriculture is pleased to announce the release of the
new Spectra Precision® AG401 laser transmitter. This product is
an entry-level laser transmitter—it is a self-leveling laser that
can be used for automatic machine control at long ranges of up
to 1500 feet (450 meters). It is ideal for growers with zero-grade
fields who do not need to adjust the grade.
The Spectra Precision AG401 laser transmitter replaces the
HV401-3 laser transmitter. The AG401 laser transmitter was
designed specifically for agriculture use with extended range,
and calibrated to operate at high temperatures, allowing growers
to operate in hot sun conditions.
The AG401 laser transmitter is available with two different
battery configurations:
• P/N 90012-00 replaces the HV401-3 laser transmitter. It uses replaceable alkaline 1.5 V D-
cell batteries (included).
• P/N 90012-10 replaces the HV401-3EU laser transmitter. It uses rechargable Nickel Metal
Hydride (NiMH) batteries. The battery pack and charger are included.
Unlike the HV401-3 laser transmitter, the AG401 laser transmitter does not ship with
a handheld laser detector as its primary use is for machine control applications.
Customers may order a handheld detector separately if required.
