17-042503 – Criminal Attempt Robbery

Juvenile suspect attempted to rob the victim in the parking lot of the Citgo Gas Station on
Columbia Dr/I-20. Suspect fled the scene on foot and was later captured by officers.
Suspect was charged with Criminal Attempt Robbery.

17-042336 Aggravated Assault/Criminal Attempt Robbery

The suspect attempted to rob and shot the victim in Robins Landing Apts off Glenwood
Rd. The suspect was captured on video during the incident and was arrested for
Aggravated Assault and Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery.

Dequan Payton and Otis Garrett went to Club Blaze (Moreland Ave/Cedar Grove Rd).
Mr. Payton presented several counterfeit 50 dollar bills to a bartender in an attempt to get
change for the bills. After further investigation it was discovered Mr. Garrett was also in
possession of counterfeit money.
