1. The CONTRACTOR shall provide Eighty Five (85) janitors and one (1) supervisor. The Janitors shall
render services for six (6) days a week but not more than forty (40) hours a week including
Saturdays, which are considered regular school days of MSU-IIT except when the services of
janitors are necessary on Sundays and Holidays.
2. Contractor shall supply necessary monthly supplies and materials and should have necessary
tools, equipment, technical know-how, supervision and transportation necessary to implement
the project.
3. Does the CONTRACTOR provides the following minimum number of equipment?
1. Daily Routine:
a. Sweeping, mopping and polishing of floors, stairways, corridors, lobbies entrances and other
areas covered in scope of work to the satisfaction of MSU-IIT;
b. Cleaning furniture, fixtures, and office and laboratory equipment;
c. Cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing the toilets and wash rooms;
d. Emptying and cleaning of ash trays, sand urns and waste can or receptacles;
e. Collecting segregating of garbage and other waste materials and disposal of the same
materials designated collection points in the campus;
f. Cleaning and maintenance of landscape and gardens in the surrounding area;
g. Such other related work as may from time to time, be required by the PROCURING ENTITY;
h. Ensuring that all electrical supplies and facilities have been switched off before leaving the
work premises in the evening;
i. Ensuring that comfort rooms are kept clean and free from foul smell at all times.
2. Weekly Operations:
a. Vacuum cleaning of all rugs and carpet;
c. Thorough general cleaning, sanitizing, deodorizing and disinfecting of toilets and washrooms;
3. Monthly Operations:
a. Cleaning of inside and outside portions of the walls, windows and glasses;
b. Cleaning of ceilings;
c. Cleaning of roofs and gutters;
d. Trimming of grasses and ornamental plant/hedges and branch cutting and/ or pruning of
trees; and
e. Spraying of high quality insect killer for crawling and flying insects.
4. Others as directed by the PUCORING ENTITY/ Cost Center or Department concerned such as;
a. Arranging / rearranging of furniture and fixtures
b. Assist during special school activities
