as part of the human resource

Falcons.
Si Kenith ay 16 years old pa lang pero kinakitaan na siya ng
magandang potential ng kanyang coach kaya naman nalagay
na din siya sa team.
Nasa fourth year na siya sa Adamson High school at siyempre
pa, pangarap niya ang makarating na rin sa seniors.

attention for racist rant
TRASH talker Floyd Mayweather, Jr. took to the
Internet again, this time to apologize for a profanity-
filled racist rant against Manny Pacquiao that he
recorded on uStream.com Thursday.
Mayweather continued to mispronounce Pac-
quiao’s surname, repeatedly referring to him as
“Pooch-ee-ow.” But a day after making racist and
homophobic comments on uStream, Mayweather
offered an apology to those who were offended.
“I do want to apologize for what happened the
other night,” Mayweather said. “I want to apologize
to everybody. They felt it was a racist comment that
came from me. I don’t have a racist bone in my body,
you know. I love everybody. Some of my guys are
Muslims. Some of my guys are Jews. Puerto Ricans,
Dominicans, Mexicans, whites, it doesn’t matter.
There is nothing but love in my heart, you know
what I’m saying?
“I heard this from a few people. The only thing I
want to say is, anybody who was offended by what I
said the other day, I apologize as a man. I apologize.
Forgive me for saying what I said. I was just having
fun. I didn’t really mean it, nothing in a bad way. So
let’s stay on this roller coaster ride and keep riding,
baby. It’s all love.”
Prior to apologizing, Mayweather embraced two
Asian women, who said they were Thai and Chinese.
He asked one of them if she spoke Thai and kept
asking her to “Speak some Thai.” As he embraced
them, he promised them front-row tickets for a
fight with Pacquiao. Reresentatives of each camp
twice in the last nine months attempted to make
a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, but were unable to
finalize a deal.
Arellano caps ‘Cinderella’
finish in beach tilt
ARELLANO U’s Chris Salvador and John
Lozada downed Perpetual Help’s Ralph Sevil-
lano and Jay dela Cruz, 21-12, 21-17, yesterday
capping a Cinderella finish in the men’s division
of the 86th NCAA beach volleyball competition
at the La Salle-Greenhills sand court.
It was a fitting triumph for the Chiefs, who
won it all only on their second year in the oldest
and one of the most prestigious leagues in the
land today.
And it came via an impressive 10-game
sweep.
The Legarda-based school also became the
second team to win a title this season after St.
Benilde lorded it over the field in the seniors’
chess competition a couple of weeks back.
“We’re proud of their accomplishment,” said
Peter Cayco, Arellano U’s Management Com-
mittee member.
Perpetual Help’s Keshia de Luna and April
Sartin, for their part, accomplished what their
men’s counterpart failed to do as they beat Le-
tran’s Gena Andaya and Manel Carolino, 21-19,
21-18, to nail the women’s crown.
It was also a sweet parting gift for de Luna,
who was adjudged the tournament MVP.
“It was sentimental for me because this is my
last season but it was a team effort with God’s
blessing,” said de Luna, a graduating Education
student.
