Daniel Abrahamson is a musical theatre creator that's been a part of the Toronto theatre

community for ten years. A graduate of Sheridan Colleges Music Theatre Performance program,
he's contributed to the Canadian musical theatre landscape as a performer, composer, lyricist,
and producer. After studying and practicing with Scirptlab and the Canadian Musical Theatre
Writers Collective, he helped create Theatre 20's Composium which had helped connect and
foster new writers and their shows. His musical Funny Business premiered at the Toronto Fringe
in 2007 and continued to run for 119 performances in Toronto’s 300 seat Diesel Theatre and
receive publication through Samuel French where it still enjoys productions worldwide.
Abrahamson also co-wrote hit Fringe musicals Act Now! (2009 Best of Fringe and Patrons Pick)
and Hugh and I (2016 Patrons Pick). His musical Girl's End toured the Canadian Fringe circuit in
2016 to rave reviews and sold out houses. As a performer he's performed around Canada
including Sudbury Theatre Centre, the National Ballet of Canada, Port Hope Festival Theatre
and Drayton Entertainment. He's self produced cabarets and collectives independently and as a
part of Toronto, Winnipeg, and Edmonton Fringe Festivals.
