Accessed 27 Oct. 2017. This is a primary source that gives factual evidence on the

number of deaths happening in the battle. It states that 2,000 Japanese people have died

during the attack on Guam. It tells how the Americans smashed a fierce attack on Guam.

This source shows how Japan and the Chinese were able to take over Guam and

concern the people of Guam. It talks about the strategies used on both sides and what the

outcomes where. This source also provides much information on the number of people

who battle and some on deaths and ones who were missing. This source is a reliable

source because of its a primary source of a newpaper published by the newyork times.

primary source gives us a lot of information on a thing like the amount of warfare used in

the battle and how they used this warfare to overtake the Orton Penisula. This site is a

reliable souce because its a primary souce from the new york times.

with clips from the time period of the Battle of Guam. This video gives a summary of the
Battle of Guam and also helps the viewer learn what people looked like and did. There is

primary source footage in this video which helps me uderstand whats going on.

shows the United States detetination during the battle and how they never stopped

the roads and the capital of Guam during this time. This helps me see the shape of the

land of Guam and how much and how big the territory is.

the pain and toucher there U.S Marine soldiers when through when getting around Guam

and what they did to do so. Also, this helps us because it gives us an look of what

truley happened during the battle.

of Guam in 1941. After many days of fierce fighting and battle, the marines and the navy

had fallen and Guam was taken over. But in 1944, the United States where able to win
back Guam after one week of none stop fighting. Also, this source gives a primary

source from one of the soldiers from the navy giving his thoughts and predicaments on

the matter. This source helps us understand the amount of death and casuatles on both

sides of the battles and a primsary sorce of a U.S naval solider.

today’s society. This source tells about the lifestyle people of Guam live. They are living

in fear because of the scare of war between North Korea and America. This source gives

primary source details of people talking about how they feel and how worried they are.

reliable because it is the official website of the National Parks, ran by the US

government. This website explains details of how Japan bombed Guam, and how the

United States fought back. This helps our project because it provides information and

details about each step the United States had to take to secure Guam back.

the second battle of Guam in 1944 when the United States take back Gaum with there

how that battle plays a role. This soucre gives our group a better back round on what

events occured after the first battle in 1941.
