RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS

Reference is made to your registration for Management Aptitude Test for February 2018.
You are permitted to appear for CBT as per the schedule given on Page 1. You must carry this Admit Card to the Test
Centre for appearing in the Test.
The Gate of Examination centre shall close 30 minutes before the commencement of examination. After the gate is closed
entry shall not be allowed under any circumstances.
You must bring any valid Original photo ID proof for verification, such as (i) Voter ID Card, (ii) PAN Card, (iii) Driving
License, (iv) Photo ID issued by any government organization or recognized educational institution, (v) Passport (vi)
Aadhaar Card, etc. to the test centre. Candidates without valid Original photo ID proof will not be permitted to Take
the test.
Negative Marking: There will be negative marking. For each wrong answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.
Note that the items listed below are strictly NOT allowed inside the examination centre campus: Mobile Phone, Bag,
Handbag, Water Bottle, Papers, notes, books, calculator, electronic gadgets, correction marker, white fluid,
etc.
It is clarified that there shall be no arrangements at the Examination Centre for keeping the aforesaid items.
If any item is lost, the Centre or AIMA will not be responsible for such loss. Candidates are, therefore,
advised either not to carry the aforementioned items to the test centre or to make their own arrangements
for keeping such items in safe custody at their sole risk. Any candidate found using or to be in possession of such
unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means is liable to be summarily disqualified.
Candidates are NOT required to provide their personal particular like mobile no.,email id,address etc. to anybody in or out
side the centre to appear in the test.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the test room before the end of test.
Request for change of test centre/city will not be entertained.
Any attempt to influence will lead to disqualification of candidature.
Discrepancies, if any, regarding your particulars in this admit card can be e-mailed to mat@aima.in at least 2 days prior to
the CBT.
In case you face any technical issue while logging into the examination or during the exam, please contact the
Invigilator immediately to address the issue. You are requested to avoid touching the wires and cables as it could lead to
the computer shutting down.
In the event of any technical issue faced during the exam, Candidates are requested to be seated inside the lab for further
instructions by the examination conducting authority. Any candidate walking out of the lab before the completion of the
exam time i.e. the stipulated 2.5 hours (150 minutes), without the permission of examination functionaries such
candidates under any circumstances will not be permitted to renter the examination lab and it may also be noted that
his/her candidature will be cancelled. On completion it is mandatory to handover the used scribble pad back to the
Invigilator
Please make sure you sign in the space provided against your details in the Attendance Sheet. Signing on the
Attendance Sheet is mandatory and without signing the attendance sheet your candidature will be NULL and
VOID.

INFORMATION ON THE TEST

1. The questions will appear in English.

2. Every question is followed by 4 answer options. Choose the option that is most appropriate. Indicate your answer by
clicking on the circle/box adjacent to the option you think is right.
3. You can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number. The answered question number and the
unanswered/ skipped question number will appear in different colours.
4. If you are doubtful of the answer, you can mark a question for review. This will be unmarked automatically, once you come
back to the same question at a later time.
5. If you want to change your answer to any question, you may select the question and change the answer by clicking on the
appropriate answer.
6. There will be negative marking. For each wrong answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.
7. Timer display at the top of the screen indicates the time throughout the test.
8. You can move between sections at your will.
9. The test closes automatically once the allotted time of 150 Minutes is over.
10. In case you finish your test before allotted time, you will get a confirmation page which will give you two options. Either to
go back to the test or to complete the test.
11. In case you want to review the answers in the remaining time you can do so, else, you may complete the test and submit.
12. Ensure that you click on submit as a sign of completion. Please be sure before clicking ‘submit’ that you have completed the
test. Once you submit, you will not be able to go back to the test.
13. Once you complete the on-line test, you should be able to see the screen indicating completion of test with a thank you
note.
14. Raise your hand on completion to handover the used rough sheets to the administrator.
