Nalini Rajamannan's Response to Northwestern University Request for

Letters Regarding Title IX

February 8, 2018, Northwestern University requested letters to help safeguard the working
environment for students, employees and faculty.

Sheboygan, WI, February 12, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Open letter submitted by Dr. Nalini M. Rajamannan in
response to Northwestern University's request for letters regarding improving and creating a safe working
environment for students, employees and faculty at the University.

This letter is for the University Board of Trustees, the President of the University and for the citizens and
patients of Chicago and across the United States of America.

On February 8, 2018, the Media services department at Northwestern University requested letters be sent
to Northwestern University in a Statement by Alan K. Cubbage, Northwestern University Vice President
for University Relations.

In the past several days, Northwestern University has received allegations of inappropriate conduct by a
professor at the University. The University takes seriously all complaints that are brought to its attention
and is investigating those allegations promptly and thoroughly.


They encourage anyone who has been the victim of alleged harassment or misconduct at the University to
contact the Office of Equity at 847.467.6165 or TitleIXcoordinator@northwestern.edu.

This release is the response to Northwestern University's request. Please contact
