Six Year Net Data Comparison 2017

This 2017 Six Year Net Assessment data, has been collected over the las two terms. It shows
that we are starting to meet the needs of our students and that ‘Teaching for Urgency’ is
impacting positively on our student’s achievement.

We have introduced Literacy Evolution which aligns will with Phonics, with all staff fully
trained throughout Years 0-3. This is proving to be an important element in learning and as
the data shows, we have gone from an Alphabet knowledge average of 43 (2012) to an
average of 52 (2017).

Reading Averages show a steady increase from Level 7 (2012) to Level 10 (2017) with
National Standards requiring students to be at Level 12 at their First Year Anniversary.

‘Early Words’ has become an important learning tool for all students in Years 0-3. The data
shows accelerated learning with a positive move in all ranges and averages.

We will continue to monitor and track students to ensure accelerated learning is taking
place through ‘Teaching for Urgency’.
