Course Objectives 1. To understand the ultrastructure of the cell
2. To understand the physiological activity of the cell
3. To understand the structure of cell organeless in relation with
its function and the other parts of the cell.

Course description Introduction : cell evolution theory, general structure and
biochemistry of the cell; molecular structure and function of cell
membrane; the control of cell activity; cellular digestion; Energy
transduction: mitochondria and chloroplast; cell form and cell
movement; cell cycle; cellular regulation*)
