El PRESENTE SIMPLE en inglés

(PRESENT SIMPLE)

“usually” (=normalmente), “every day” (=cada día), etc.
Ejemplo: María studies English every day.
Example: María estudia inglés cada día.

hablamos de “he”, “she”, “it”. En este caso añadimos “-S” al verbo. Example:

I eat = yo como
You eat = tú comes
He eatS = él come
She eatS = ella come FORMA
It eatS = ….come (“it” se refiere a un animal u objeto) AFIRMATIVA
We eat = nosotros/as comemos SUJETO+VERBO
You eat = vosotros/as comeis
They eat = ellos/as comen

Forma negativa: usamos el verbo “DO” o “DOES”+ NOT. El verbo “DO”

“yo no hago”? =
I don´t eat = yo no como
You don´t eat = tú no comes
He doesn´t eat = él no come
She doesn´t eat = ella no come FORMA
It doesn´t eat = …no come NEGATIVA
We don´t eat = nosotros/as no comemos SUJETO + DON´T o
You don´t eat = vosotros/as no comeis DOESN´T
They don´t eat = ellos/as no comen + VERBO

Do I eat? = ¿como yo?

Do you eat? = ¿comes tú?
Does he eat? = ¿come él? FORMA
Does she eat? = ¿come ella? INTERROGATIVA
Does it eat? = ¿come? DO o DOES + SUJETO +VERBO?
Do we eat? = ¿comemos nosotros/as?
Do you eat? = ¿comeis vosotros/as?
Do they eat? = ¿comen ellos/as?

siguientes casos:

1)Los verbos que acaban en SS, SH, CH, X, O añaden ES.

Example: mix (=mezclar) – mixes watch(=ver,observar)- watches

do (=hacer) – does kiss(=besar) – kisses

Example: try (=intentar) – tries

Example: say (=decir) – says pay(=pagar) – pays

enjoy (=divertirse, disfrutar) - enjoys

cuando hablamos de “he”, “she”, “it”. En este caso añadimos “-S” al
verbo. Example:

I eat = yo como
You eat = tú comes
He eatS = él come
She eatS = ella come FORMA
It eatS = ….come (“it” se refiere a un animal u objeto) AFIRMATIVA
We eat = nosotros/as comemos SUJETO+VERBO
You eat = vosotros/as comeis
They eat = ellos/as comen

Forma negativa: usamos el verbo “DO” o “DOES”+ NOT. El verbo “DO”

I don´t eat = yo no como
You don´t eat = tú no comes
He doesn´t eat = él no come
She doesn´t eat = ella no come FORMA
It doesn´t eat = …no come NEGATIVA
We don´t eat = nosotros/as no comemos SUJETO + DON´T o
You don´t eat = vosotros/as no comeis DOESN´T
They don´t eat = ellos/as no comen + VERBO

Do I eat? = ¿como yo?

Do you eat? = ¿comes tú?
Does he eat? = ¿come él? FORMA
Does she eat? = ¿come ella? INTERROGATIVA
Does it eat? = ¿come? DO o DOES + SUJETO +VERBO?
Do we eat? = ¿comemos nosotros/as?
Do you eat? = ¿comeis vosotros/as?
Do they eat? = ¿comen ellos/as?
