1. Purpose
To define organizational work hour norms, set guidelines to uphold business ethics and
foster a healthy and safe work environment for all employees. This policy is also essential
in the context of maintaining decorum & discipline in the company.
2. Scope
Applicable to all employees of the company.
Employees based at client sites in Bangladesh or abroad or at any of the subsidiaries
will follow the work hours & norms of the client/subsidiary office.
3. Procedure
Code of Business Conduct: Employees are expected to read the Code of Conduct &
Ethical practices document in its entirety and ensure that their behavior is in
compliance with the same. The following list includes actions that are inconsistent with
acceptable rules of business behavior and may result in disciplinary action and / or
termination:
Disorderly behavior, which disrupts the work environment.
Refusal to perform work assigned by a supervisor without rationale or
agreeable norms.
Misrepresenting facts related to the company or work in the company or
willfully falsifying Company records.
Sexual, verbal, physical, or visual forms of harassment directed at any person
associated with the Company or discriminatory conduct towards employees for
reasons of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, handicap or any other
protected status.
Destroying, damaging, defacing or stealing Company property.
Disclosure of confidential information to unauthorized persons/organizations.
Any act which might endanger the lives or safety of others or the deliberate,
wilful or repeated violation of any safety rules.

Office Telephones & Fax: It is the employee's responsibility to ensure those offices
telephones/fax is used for business purposes. Employees should limit incoming and
outgoing personal telephone/Fax calls on company instruments to emergency
situations.
Computer Usage: Computers, computer files, e-mail and the software provided are
the property of the company and solely intended for business use. Usage of computers
& associated accessories will be governed by relevant policies of IT. [Please refer to IT
Policy]
Official Travel: Please refer to HR Manual.
Movement of Company Property: All company property taken out of the premises
must be recorded in the Movement Register available with security. For further
reference please refer to IT Policy.
Access To Work Stations: All desks, files, lockers and cabinets are the property of
the Company. The Company as such may have access to these at any time for reasons
related to work or security.
This policy may be reviewed from time to time based on business need
