1. INTRODUCTION

This document serves the purpose of stating my career plan in ABC Ltd
and it also depicts a Gap Analysis – done to identify the gap between my
current situation and the future state that I want to achieve, along with
the tasks that I will need to complete to eliminate this gap. The goal,
that I have set as my target, is achievable provided that; I obtain the
required training, I continue my further studies and have the
opportunity to showcase my skills.

2. WHAT IS MY GOAL?

My aim, in my professional career at ABC (Mauritius) Ltd, is to be a Building Maintenance Engineer


within the next 2 years, and eventually become the Assistant Maintenance Manager in 5 years’ time.

3. WHO AM I?

Born in October 1985, I joined ABC (Mauritius) Ltd as a 23 year old Trainee Production Engineer in June
2009.
I have acquired skills in Time Management, Priority Management and Project Management. I am highly
motivated and I am very conscientious. I have working experience in boiler/cooling tower/chiller water
treatment and in building maintenance. I am willing to learn and I like to share my ideas.

4. HOW DO I PLAN TO ACHIEVE MY GOAL?

 By applying the skills I learned during my Tertiary studies and past working experiences.

 By gaining exposure to building maintenance works being carried out in ABC (Mauritius)
Ltd itself.

I am also fully conversant with software such as Autocad, Aspen Hysys, Microsoft Visio,
Google Sketch-up, and floor plan.
