Emporia State University invites students with a strong
interest in Japanese language and culture to participate in our International Summer Program (ISP). The ISP provides American college students and high school juniors/seniors the chance to live and learn with students from Japan on the ESU campus. The program provides students with opportunities to practice their Japanese language with native speakers, strengthen intercultural skills, earn university course credits, and make new friends. The courses offered during the program are… • Introduction to Japanese Culture, 3 credit hours (American students only) AND • Interpersonal Communication, 3 credit hours (Japanese students and American students) OR • Basic Economics, 3 credit hours (Japanese students and American students) Additional courses upon request
