APPLICATION SITUATION
Fractionator tower in cracker unit.

PROBLEM
CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation) particularly around the support rings where
moisture had accumulated.

PRODUCTS
Belzona® 5851 (HA-Barrier) 2.

SUBSTRATE
Steel

APPLICATION METHOD
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How
System Leaflet TCC-5.The insulation was removed from affected areas,
substrate prepared and Belzona® 5851 (HA-Barrier) applied to the hot
substrate.

Belzona® 5851 provides excellent corrosion protection to these badly cor-
roded areas without interruption to production.
