PROCUREMENT OF WORKS IN SIX UNIVERSITIES

This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Islamic Development Bank website. (www.isdb.org) Loan No.
IND 0168. Directorate General of Learning and Students Affairs, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, has received a Finance from the Islamic
Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of The Support to The Development of Higher Education and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments
under the contract for civil works in six universities, namely State University of Gorontalo (Gorontalo), University of Sam Ratulangi (North Sulawesi), University of Lambung
Mangkurat (South Kalimantan), University of Tanjungpura (West Kalimantan), State University of Surabaya (East Java), and Yogyakarta State University (Special Region
of YogyakartaThe respective university intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for civil works to construct university buildings and related infrastructures as follow:
(1). State University of Gorontalo, Gorontalo with total area of 34,100 m2; (2). University of Sam Ratulangi, Manado with total area of 17,600 m2; (3). Lambung Mangkurat
University, Banjarmasin with total area of 28,795 m2; (4). Tanjungpura University, Pontianak with total area of 22,480m2; (5). State University of Surabaya, Surabaya with
total are of 30,600 m2; (6). Yogyakarta State University, Yogyakarta with total area of 28,850 m2. It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in July 2016.
Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works, May
2009, and is open to all bidders from eligible member countries, as defined in the Guidelines. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and
inspect the prequalification document at the respective universities (addresses and time schedule below). A complete set of the prequalification document in English
may be obtained by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below. Applications for prequalification should be submitted in
sealed envelopes and clearly marked, and delivered to the address below by March 2016.
