ACTIVITIES: I. PRE-LESSON
Teacher write musical instrument on the board. Elicit examples of musical instruments from the class and
make a list on the board, eg piano, guitar, violin, and drums.

II. LESSON

ACTIVITY 1
I. Teacher play the CD. Pupils listen and repeat the words for the different skills chorally and
individually.
ACTIVITY 2
i. Pupils read the information about the talent show contestants carefully first..
ii. Teacher play the CD. Pupils copy and complete the introductions in their notebook using the
words from the word pool in exercise 1.
iii. They compare answers in pairs.
ACTIVITY 3
I. Pupils work individually and write a list of things they can/can’t do and things they are good at/not
very good. Encourage them to look at the word pool in exercise 1 for ideas.
II. Pupils will hear to talent show and decide the sentence are true or false. They correct the false
sentences
