ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

I. Objectives:

a. To provide opportunities for students to speak English

b. Exercise and institutionalize the use of English to develop students
interaction using English as medium of instruction.

II. Activities

1. Holding a school-based Reading Day on December 6, 2017 at

the Barangay Gymnasium focusing on the following events:

 Spelling
 Story Telling
 Read-A-Thon
 Declamation
 Speech Choir
 Choral Reading
 Choral Speaking

2. Institutionalize English Speaking Zone Policy through SSG

Resolution.
3. PROJECT SPEAK APP
4. Providing teaching activities that reinforce speaking opportunity.

III. Results

a. Students’ speaking skills are somehow developed.

b. Students’ vocabulary and pronunciation are improving.
c. Students confidence is gradually established.
d. Learning takes place even at their leisure time and at home.

IV. Problems Encountered

Students are hesitant to transact business in English at some designated

area/premises.
 V. Recommendation

It is recommended that the school will give further opportunities and

encourage students to speak English fluently.
