ARTICLE X

AMENDMENTS

SECTION 1. This constitutions and by-laws may be amended, altered or repealed in

whole or in part, or a new constitution and by-laws may be adopted
by a majority vote of all members present at any regular or special
meeting of the General Assembly called for by the association,
provided, notice of such amendment is given to the members 30 days
in advance of voting.

ARTICLE XE

EFFECTIVITY

This Constitution and By-Laws shall take effect immediately upon

notification by a majority vote of all members of the association.

ADOPTED AND RATIFIED this 6th of May 2016 at Brgy. Buri, Alangalang,
Leyte with the list of members together with their signatures who ratified the same
as appearing below.

MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATION MEETING, RATIFICATION AND ADOPTATION OF THE

CONSITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF THE ASSOCIATION.

The Senior Citizens Association meeting started at 1:30 P.M., February 6, 2016 held
at the DayCare Center of Brgy. Buri, Alangalang, Leyte

The meeting started with an opening prayer led by Nalita B. Maraya and the agenda
read by Precillana T. Macalla, to wit;
 Purpose of the association
 Election of officers and result of the election
 Ratification of the Constitution and By-Laws
 Other matters

The temporary secretary then checks the attendance wherein each member
registered their names upon arrival.

The temporary presiding officer Celia C. Baldesco discussed in detail the provisions
of the newly formulated Constitution & By-Laws and read in detail the purpose of the
association. Also explained the duties, responsibilities of the officers and its members. In
addition, the presiding officers discussed in detail the provisions of R.A. No. 9994 and its
implementing guidelines for the benefits of all members present.

Election of officers followed and the election was done by secret balloting:
