MULTI-CABLE TREFOIL CLEATS [MC]

MULTI - CABLE TREFOIL CLEAT

Maico Multi cable trefoil Cleats are made with aluminium alloy (LM6) base and Stainless steel Strap. It is
used to fasten one, two, three or a bundle of cables in trefoil formation mainly for horizontal applications.

Straps can be used as an intermediate support between cleats.

Straps can be supplied separately and are to be specified by deleting 1 to the cleat part mentioned in
the table below. For example straps for cleat part MCT MC 101 should be mentioned as MCT MC01

For 40KA(RMS)short circuit rating, cleat spacing of 1.2m-1.5m and for 80KA(RMS) short circuit rating,
cleat spacing of 1m are recommended.

Range:
From 20mm to 170mm diameter of different sizes are available for trefoil formation.
From 35mm to 250mm diameter of different sizes are available for single cable fixing.

Operating Temperature: -45¡C to 105¡C

VARIABLE CABLE CLEATS
Maico vari cleat are available for trefoil and single cable suitable for
both horizontal and vertical installations, featuring an LM6 aluminium
base, a separate stainless steel retention strap and secured with
fasteners and nut.The base design enables cables to be laid in place
during installation, the clip in strap can then be secured around the

cables for final tensioning.The fixing options depend on the base size

featuring either single or double bolt fixing. Separate retention strap
can also be fitted between cleats for economical installation.

TAKING CABLE CLEATS [TK]

Maico Taking cable cleat are available for trefoil and single cable application where moderate
levels of short circuit current with standing capacity is required.

Taking cable cleat are manufactured using galvanised steel, all cleats are also supplied with
stainless steel bolts to eliminate eddy current.
