Highlights

 Well Control operations performed successfully without incident in OMK623IG well (NDIL F21) using Wait and
Weight method.

Lowlights

 BOTIL float valve of 18’’5/8 stab in shoe failed in OKS-39 well (TP 216).

 The communicated planned mud density (0.86sg), to drill the 6” section in OMK623IG well (NDIL F21), seems to
be lower than it should be as the well was controlled (after well control incident once drilled 3m in new
formation) using 1.04sg.

Lowlights

 Repeated Incidents/Accidents in GWDC rigs, especially incidents related to accommodation (cabins and skids).

 Fatal Accident happened in GWDC118 (MD 675) during the last storm when the security check point
destroyed; this led to 2 casualties (one died in the hospital).

Highlights

 Ability to sidetrack using Packed Hole BHA in WRAA1 well (TP 169).

 Started getting formation after drilling out 28m of cement; and got 90% formation after drilling out 54m of
cement.

Lowlights

 The production packer is requested to be set below the 7” landing collar (between the float collar and the shoe)
in HGAS4 well (TP226).

 This requires the scrapping in front the landing collar which may lead to some downhole problems (risk of
scraper sticking)

 2 Days NPT repairing Bentec TDS (report n°3) in TP160 (EAR-1 well).

 Reached TD @ 2224m in 40.95 days (planned 44.25 days).


 Saved 3.30 days.

Lowlights

 The Drilling Line found seriously damaged inside the Drawworks in ENF 10 (HTFN-6 well) during running in hole
the 13”3/8 Casing @ 1528m (133 joints).

 Waiting on Baker dies in order to repair Power Tong (no back up in site) in HRS33 well (TP 161).

 SLB fisher man failed in the fishing operations in SBBR1 well (ENF 08).

 The fishing BHA components left in hole rather than to recover the primary fish (the Top of Fish moved
upper).

Highlights

 12.54 Days performance in MD675 well (GWDC118).

 Reached TD @ 3449m in 44.16 days (planned 56.70 days).


 Saved 12.54 days.
 No NPT related to mud pump repair because of the use of 3 Mud Pumps.

 The Impreg bit iQ616D SN° 12377081 and the SLB 6"5/8 TSH MK2 FBS Turbine, succeeded to reach an average
ROP of 3.27m/hr in CAMBRIAN RI formation, in RDH1 (SPEC 118) during the 8”1/2 turbo drilling.

Lowlights

 Waiting on completion equipment in MD-676 (NDIL F27) and OMP46 (GWDC155) even the fact that the
Production Packers have been set.

 Waiting on Hal Cement Unit in KEHN-1 (TP130).

 Traffic accident during the rig move of NDIL F22 to new platform @ MD-679.

 Collision between the Nabors Track loading cabin skid and BJSP Cement unit truck.
 No injuries; and the BJSP truck was damaged.

Highlights

 The Impreg bit K505BPX SN° JM0334 succeeded to Drill Out the Landing Collar of 7” WFD liner in 1 hour using
Hal Turbine.

 Changed the Traveling Block, whose Inspection Certificate was expired, with certified new one in NDIL F22,
instead of waiting for the certification process.

 Succeeded to change the bearings of the Drawworks gear box in 9 hours rather 24 hours in NDIL F28 (OMJ-431)

Lowlights

 Razor Back tool is not designed to scrap through Drilled Out accessories such as Landing Collar.

 Continue Waiting on Hal Cement Unit in KEHN-1 (TP130).

 Hard Back Reaming using Kelly during POOH 16'' Drill String in OKS-39 well (TP 216).

 Waiting on Mi-Swaco to backload mud HTF24 (NDIL 283); this delayed the cleaning tanks to start moving.

 Continue Waiting on Hal Cement Unit in KEHN-1 (TP130).

 Delayed the Move operations of NDIL F22 to MD679 due to the late authorization to move the Camp.

Highlights

 Tested the Bridge Plug in pressure and compression with the OEDP string which would be used to set isolation
cement plug, in the same run.

 4''1/2 bridge plug set @3764m.


 385m of 2"7/8 TBG extension used with OEDP.
 Tested bridge plug in compression with 2 Tons and tested in pressure @ 500psi.
 Set the cement plug above bridge plug with the same OEDP.

 MI-Swaco Mud Company provided CaBr2 in order to mix Brine for completion in HGAS4 well (TP226) even the
well was to be completed by AVA.

Lowlights

 Rig Access is blocked by job seekers in TP208 (DBA1).

 Damaged 13”3/8 CSG Centralizer during running the shoe track with ECP in OKS-39 well (TP 216).

 After screwing ECP and pup joint, and during RIH, the Casing set at Bell Nipple (Bell Nipple is not well
centralized).

 AVA mud company could not provide CaBr2 in order to mix Brine for completion in HGAS4 well (TP226).

 Use the Recycled Water from Mud Pit in order to Mix WBM in DBA-1 well (TP 208).

 Rig Access is blocked by job seekers.

Lowlights

 Hal Turbine failed to finish 6” hole section in OMJ-431 well (NDIL F28).

 Turbo-drilled to 3451m, no progress & ∆P=0


 At surface found turbine restricted in rotation and the gap @ 3mm.
 K505 BPX Bit Dull Grading: 2-4-WT-A-X-I-NO-PR

 6” PDC bit plugged with junks (increased pressure while started circulation) in HRC64 well (ENF 44).

 During RIH scrapping BHA, after drilled out cement and landing collar (7”liner), and once tried to circulate at
top of liner, the pressure increased (string plugged).
 After POOH to surface found bit plugged with junks (seem to be from landing collar already drilled out).
 Apparently the metal shavings (aluminum junks) are from the drilled out landing collar, and they stayed in
the circulating system.

 Got stuck in Turonian formation in MDZ-677 well (ENF 46).

 NDIL F22 Rig ready to spud the well MD-679 but it was delayed due to waiting on permission to move the Main
Camp.

Highlights

 10.25 Days saved to reach the 1st DST point in HGAW-5 well (ENF 50).

 Drilled to DST point n°1 @ 3375m after 38.75 days (planned 49 days).

 The 6” Impreg bit K505BCTPX SN° JK5837 and the SLB Turbine, succeeded to reach an average ROP of 4.39m/hr
in QUARTZITE DE HAMRA formation (51m), in HGAW-5 (ENF 50) during the 6” turbo drilling (56m).

 Good coordination to get the Cement Unit (came from GWDC112) at time for the 13”3/8 CSG cement job in
KEHN-1 well (TP 130).

 The Cement Unit was brought from Berkine after the lack of Hal Units.

Lowlights

 Found 13”3/8 CSG Centralizers designed for 17”1/2 hole size in OKS 39 well (TP216) where the actual hole size
is 16”.

 The information was written on paper and stamped on the centralizers and not printed on the metal.

 No final Bump during 4”1/2 Liner Cement job in MD675 well (GWDC 118).

 Radioactive Sources are still in site in GWDC155 (OMP46 well) where the rig move is soon, and in NDIL283
(HTF25) where the rig move has already started.

 25.5 hours Repair on Mud Pump in ENF10 (HTFN-6 well)

 Found wear on third discharge module and wear plate.

 5 Hours Excess time during the Inter-phase (16” - 12”1/4) in GWDC 112 (NHBHJ-1 well).

 5.25 hours Repair on Mud Pump in NDIL 284 (RDC18).

 Got leak during DST operations in GINE1BisZ1 well (TP 217).

Highlights

 Clean Mud Tanks prior rig move in invisible time during laying down 5” DP in TP 226 (HGAS4).

 Deliver the 1st well of TP226 (HGAS4).

Lowlights

 Continue Repair on Mud Pumps in ENF10 (HTFN-6 well)

 Electrical problem.

 Frequent missed casing point incidents due to geological misunderstanding.

 Sometimes set the casing point shallower than it should be, which probably can lead to losses in the next
section
 Sometimes set the casing point deeper than it should be, which probably can to lead losses during drilling,
negative FIT or losses during RIH casing.

Highlights

 Used the Mobile Bunker for the 1st time in NHGAW1 well (GWDC 133), this allowed to perform perforation
without delay (no wait on explosive or escort).

 Delivered the OMP46 well (GWDC 155) after 53.21 days (planed 69.65 days).

 Abandon Cement Plug job done by COPS rather than HAL in RDH1 well (SPEC 118) which HAL is assigned (wait
on HAL cement unit)

 COPS assisted in providing acid tank in order to pump acid pill in MDZ677 (ENF46) even the fact that this well is
assigned to BJSP.

 Perform Drill Out 4”1/2 liner shoe track and Scrapping (with Razor Back) 4”1/2 liner operations in a single run in
MD675 well (GWDC118).

 Baker power tong operators refused to continue working (applied STOP WORKING) after the accident of
damaged Sling of single joint clamp in SRAA1 (TP 227).

Lowlights

 Accident due to damaged Sling of single joint clamp during POOH 9"5/8 Casing in TP 227 (SRAA1).

 Total Shut Down of 15min in NDIL 284 (RDC18).

 Mud Properties in in RDC18 (NDIL 284) should be consulted as the LGS was @ 8.70% in the last DDR whereas it
was 10.80% in previous one; However, it is planned to be <5%

Lowlights

 Missed 7” Casing Point (deeper than it should be) during drilling 8”1/2 section in HGA43 well (ENF49), this led to
spot HI-VIS -HI-DENSITY plug at bottom
 Drilled to 3388m, and the 7” liner shoe will be set at 3359m
 Tried to set DST Packer without success in OMJ-431 well (NDIL F28).

 During RIH 16” BHA inside 18”5/8 Casing, Tagged cement 144m above shoe (equivalent to 22m3 cement inside
18”5/8 CSG) in MD-679 well (NDIL F22).

 Wait on Baker Power Tong in OKS-35 well (TP 184).

 Found one joint 3”1/2 DP Washed Out during RIH SLB FLEX Trip Assembly in GINE1BisZ1 well (TP217);
 RIH SLB FLEX Trip Assembly to 790m.
 Pressure Test Assembly to 5000 psi -Negative-, Got leaks on drill string (wash out)

 Oil at surface in NHGAW1 exploratory well (GWDC 133) with 26.98m3/hr flow rate during the DST operations
(Cambrian).

 8 days rig move of NDIL 283 rig to HTF-25.

Lowlights

 Recovered part of 18”5/8 Casing in MD-679 well (NDIL F22);


 During POOH 12"3/4 two junk baskets slick BHA, got Stuck @ 335m (inside 18”5/8 CSG), continue POOH
with backreaming inside casing; at surface got one top junk basket broken and recovered part of 18"5/8
Casing.
 Found MW increased from 2.28sg to 2.31sg during 12”1/4 sidetrack operations in RDC18 well (NDIL 284).

 Pickup of bottom and adjust MW.

Lowlights

 Found Soft cement plug (Sidetrack cement plug) after more than 50hr in SBBR1 well (ENF 08);
 Tried to tag cement plug with slick BHA 3 times without success (Soft Cement)
 Slow speed in RIH 13”3/8 Casing (average of 4 joints/ hour) in ENF 46 (MDZ-677).

Lowlights

 Halliburton 02 Sidetrack cement plugs was found soft in SBBR1 -ENF08;


 Important NPT due to additional trips (spot cmt and tag it)
 waiting to change the cement company

 The Top drive in ENF46-MDZ677 was not centered properly before start drilling which generates important NPT
in terms of:

 High overpull while POOH drilling BHA, especially in 16” section.


 Lay down ENAFOR Top Drive to change skate protectors of TDS rails.

 Unnecessary 7” tie back in two wells NHGAW1-GWDC133 and ONRS1-ENF51 which led to approximately 16
days NPT in both wells and additional cost (additional 7” casing column + cement plugs..).

 The reason behind that was: SH-DP couldn’t provide the adequate tubing head.

 Reached TD @ 3517m in 53.29days, (planned 65days).
 Gain: 11.71days.

Lowlights

 The 18’’5/8 casing could not reach section TD in F27-OMK843 at two attempts.
 Pulled out the casing –found 2 centralizer lost in hole

 RIH with 26’’ packed hole BHA for wiper trip and work intervals.

 Try again to run casing without success (tag at the same depth). POOH casing for second time.

 The BJSP cement unit fold down while cementing the 13”3/8 casing in ENF47-MDZ672.
 Waiting for 2 hours to change the cement unit.

 Excessive Surface Losses due to overflow in Shale Shakers in HGAW-6 well (SPEC 118).

Highlights

 Drilled 8”1/2 phase (from 3208m to 3328m) using DSF713M PDC bit SN: E223969 in 9.5 hours time, in HTF-25
well (NDIL 283), with ROP of 19.73m/hr WOC (HTF Bit Record).

Lowlights

 The Excessive Surface Losses, due to overflow in Shale Shakers, persist in HGAW-6 well (SPEC 118).

Highlights

 POOH 16” Drill String freely in front CENOMANIAN, TURONIAN and SENONIAN SALIFERE formations in HGAW-6
well (SPEC 118).

 Usually the POOH is with overpull and backreaming in front those formations.

Lowlights

 Wear on Stabilizers (Near BIT: 15"13/16, 1st IBS: 15"12/16, 2nd IBS: 15"13/16) after POOH 16” BHA to change
bit (low ROP) in HGAW-6 well (SPEC 118).

 Several Repairs on Stand Pipe where changed stand pipe seal (hammer union seal) during Drilling 12”1/4
Section in NDIL F27 (OMK-843 well).

 5.75 hours daily NPT due to only this repair without counting the other mud system repairs.

Highlights

 Succeeded to core using 6 sections of inner tubes, and recover the 54 meter core in OKS-39 well (TP 216).

Lowlights

 6.28 days NPT Waiting on 7” Casing Cutter (completion phase) in BKHC1 well (SPEC 151) even there were other
alternatives to cut the casing but SH/DP refused.

 Repaired Bits by Aldim (bits originally from other companies) are not preferment as they should be.

 Those bits have type code ends by: -A2 and the serial number ends by: /1

 16” bit type: TFF913S-A2 serial N°: 221455/1 has been run in HGAW-6 well (SPEC 118) without success (did
not reach Casing Point with bad ROP).
Briefing of July 11th 2016
Highlights

 14.17 Days performance in OMO761 (GWDC155).

 Reached TD @ 3442m in 37.68 days (planned 51.85 days).


 Gain: 14.17 days.
 The 3rd well drilled by the Rig GWDC155 and each time performance.

 Drilled out the 7” liner shoe track with equipment and Drilled the 6” section (44m) in total time of 15 hours in
OMO761 (GWDC155).

 Used Turbine with K505BPX Impreg bit.

 Succeeded to reach ROP of 9.69 m/hr during Coring 6” section (47m) in OKS-35 (TP184).

 Used CORPRO CBBL with MCP581 core head.


Briefing of July 12th 2016
Highlights

 Drilled out the 7” liner Landing Collar in 30 min in MD-679 well (NDIL F22) using impreg bit with turbine.

 Used SLB Turbine (1.68 rev/l) with 6” Impreg bit type K505 BCTPX, SN°: JM0366

 Drilled 8”1/2 section to coring point (100m) within 8.25 hrs with ROP of 16.37 m/hr WOC in EAR1 well (TP160)

 Used PDC bit type MSI713BPX, SN°: JM0467.

Highlights

 2.67 Days performance in MD679 (NDIL F22).

 Reached TD @ 3485m in 55.33 days (planned 58 days).


 Gain: 2.67 days.

Lowlights

 Waiting on WFD DDV (Downhole Deployment Valve) Operator during night due to Escort in MDZ672 UBD well
(ENF47) during RIH 7” tie back with circulation sub and DDV.

 Missing ENF Equipment in ENF18 (GRB1 well) in order to spud the well: downhole equipment (Drill Collars &
Stabilizers), 18”5/8 handling equipment (elevators & IPN) and 20”3/4 BOP.

Highlights

 2.48 Days performance in HRC65 (ENF 44).

 Reached TD @ 2261m in 41.77 days (planned 44.25 days).


 Gain: 2.48 days.

 2.39 Days performance in OMK843 (F 27).

 Reached TD @ 3450m in 56.21 days (planned 58.60 days).


 Gain: 2.39 days.

Highlights

 2.41 Days performance in HHT-1 (GWDC-133).

 Reached TD @ 3660m in 48.18 days (planned 50.59 days).


 Gain: 2.41 days.

Lowlights

 Waiting on NPS cement product to cure cellar losses (communication at cellar) in ONI-453 (NDIL F27).

 The NPS Unit was on location for spud without products.


 4 hours NPT due to this waiting.
