Project Description
Pfizer is a leading research-based American pharmaceutical company involved in R&D of
medicines and vaccines. It also collaborates with healthcare providers, governments and local
communities to support and expand access to reliable, affordable healthcare around the world.
Project Pfizer provides end to end business solutions and data management of injectable and
noninjectable drugs, contracts between different involved bodies, discount and chargebacks
using several of Applications and Interfaces.
Role and Responsibility
 Developed and implemented business data submission system, new parallel trading software
interfaces for application users using Java, XML, JSP, AJAX, Servlet.
 Code and support provided through Struts/EJB, Tomcat/WebLogic Server, and Oracle 11g.
 Collaborated in the development of in-house development, end to end testing of Rebate and
Chargeback Calculation of Drug sales to Wholesalers using Spring, Hibernate.
 Supported existing legacy system to provide newly created use cases and ensured they were available
in the systems in parallel until legacy systems were retired.
 Developed data validation functionality in multiple source and intermediate systems.
 Automated monthly data flow from multiple system to applications after several layers of validation
using shell scripting.
 Performed Regular bug-fixes, implementation of new ideas, including new technologies into existing
systems.
 Worked with other developers to build technical solutions & complete projects to budgetary and
quality requirements. Also involved in requirements gathering, demonstrating software prototypes,
