Moving Men’s Mountains by Faith in God 1( Mark 11:22-25)

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoev-
er shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in
his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatso-
ever he saith.24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye
receive them, and ye shall have them(KJV).25 And when you assume the posture of prayer, remem-
ber that it’s not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heav-
enly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins(MSG).”
From Mark chapter 11 verses 22-25, these were the very words of Jesus. These are verses of scripture
that came out of the very lips of Jesus Christ. They are deep and so rich that if one could spend some-
time to understand, to dig deep into the meaning of those words it will change one’s life entirely.
In fact, there are people who read every part of the bible from Genesis to Revelation, just for the joy
of “I’ve finished the whole Bible,” but if one could just stay on those four verses of scripture, and tell
the Spirit of Christ to interpret the thought of Christ, in order to get an insight into what Jesus was
saying, one will never be the same again. If we get to heaven without understanding those four vers-
es, we will realize or discover that we missed out on all that the Lord wanted us to have. The same
verses can be found in Matthew 21:21-22 as well as Matthew 17:20. The whole bible minus those
four verses will mean that you have lost something essential. If Jesus said it in Matthew 17, Matthew
21 and Mark 11, then, there is something there, that many people have missed in life. It surprises me
how religious people can seek for everything in life, except faith in God. Some youth are looking for
a human being they can trust, instead of reading God’s word, to seek His Will, and building faith for
all their needs to be met. Hebrews 11 verse 1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.” One cannot be saved or born again without faith, because Ephesians
2:8-9 says “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
One cannot live for God without faith, because the bible says “we walk by faith and not by sight.”
One cannot please God without faith, because the bible says in Hebrews 11 verse 6 that, “But without
faith it is impossible to please him:” One cannot come to God in any other way, without believing in
faith, because Hebrews 11:6b says that, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. One cannot grow and develop spiritually without faith,
because Paul says to the Thessalonians that, “your faith grows exceedingly in Christ.” How does faith
for success, healing, prosperity, salvation come? Romans 10 verse 17 says that, “So then faith cometh
by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”(to be continued)
