 Work was locating different objects in the room by using a pair of cameras(computer vision)
 Used MATLAB/C++ for coding and learned statistical techniques such as RANSAC and SVD
 Presented my work at an International Research Symposium held at UBC attended by faculty
members and graduate students from various Canadian universities

“Analyzing Properties of Social Network”
 Designed and implemented a new faster heuristic to identify different cliques in a graph
 The heuristic was to be used to analyze clustering properties of social networks
“Outbreak”
 Developed a RPG prototype for an educational game on XNA Game Studio using C#
 Played a key role in game conceptualization and designing

GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (Senior Thesis) (Jul „09 – till date)


 GIS is a technological tool for comprehending geography and making intelligent decisions
 Extracting road network from vectorized map information
 Identification of discontinuities in road networks due to obliteration by trees, tunnels, bridges and others

SEMANTIC KNOWLEDGE BASED SCENE COMPLETION (Junior Thesis) (Dec „08 - Apr „09)
 Extensively surveyed various Image Completion techniques
 Studied and implemented algorithm for filling in the missing region of an image using its semantics
 Applications include automatic replacement of undesirable parts of an image

AUDIO STEGANOGRAPHY AND AUDIO WATERMARKING – AUDIOCRYPT (Jul „09 - till date)
 Studied various techniques for hiding data in audio files and audio watermarking to develop a
cryptographic library (AudioCrypt) for MATLAB
 Applications include covert communication, copyright protection and broadcast monitoring

 Designed and developed a web application HMDB, an IMDB analogue exclusively for bollywood movies

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (Software Systems Project) (Feb „08 - Mar „08)
 Developed an online portal to manage the profiles of job applicants and providing an interface to the
companies to look for potential employees
 Technologies used were JSP, Java Servlets, JavaMail, SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

ROUTING ALGORITHMS VISUALIZATION (Data Structures Project) (Oct „07 - Nov „07)
 Developed a user interactive Java applet for visualizing different network routing algorithms
 The applet explained the working of these algorithm in detail on a user created graph
