Activating Timeline
Ask questions about different ways to serve, what dictates an illegal serve, and what
types of strategic serves would you use in different types of situations throughout the 7 mins
game.

Ask if there are any kind of games that they can use to practice serving 2 mins

Acquiring
Makes teams of 4, 6, 8, each person of that team would be on different teams (each 3 mins
student numbers themselves and all the same numbered students are on the same
team).

Explain the game on the board while the students sit on floor with racquets on floor as 5 mins
well, birdies put away.

Demonstration of different serves, a quick demo of the game, as well as how point 3 mins
system works.

Applying
Play the game, keep score and give incentives to the winners and things to do for the
losers (i.e. Winners don’t have to do anything, second place does jumping jacks, third place
does push ups, and last place does burpees).
