On mother’s day a lot of people gather with their families.

This celebration takes place on the third Sunday of may and many
mariachis are requested to perform beautiful songs for mothers during the day.
Before they have lunch, some people give presents to their mothers.
Additionally, people usually kiss or hug their mothers when they give the presents.
Finally, I believe this is a nice day to show our mothers how much we love them.

En el día de la madre, mucha gente se reúne con sus familias. Esta celebración tiene lugar el tercer domingo de mayo y se
solicita a muchos mariachis que interpreten bellas canciones para las madres durante el día.
Antes de almorzar, algunas personas le dan regalos a sus madres.
Además, las personas suelen besar o abrazar a sus madres cuando dan los regalos.
Finalmente, creo que este es un buen día para mostrarles a nuestras madres cuánto las amamos.

In Korea, we have a holiday called Chuseok. It usually takes place in September or early October. It is a holiday for giving thanks
and remembering our ancestors.
Many people travel to their hometowns to spend Chuseok with their families. Every family celebrates Chuseok a little
differently. In my family, we prepare traditional foods a day or two before Chuseok. On Chuseok morning, my family does a
special ceremony to remember our ancestors. After this, we have a big meal, and we give each other small gifts. In the evening,
we have a nice dinner. After the meal, we play games or watch TV. There are lots of fun TV shows on during Chuseok!

En Corea, tenemos unas vacaciones llamadas Chuseok. Por lo general, se lleva a cabo en septiembre o principios de octubre. Es
un día festivo para dar gracias y recordar a nuestros antepasados.
Muchas personas viajan a sus lugares de origen para gastar Chuseok con sus familias. Cada familia celebra Chuseok de una
manera diferente. En mi familia, preparamos comidas tradicionales uno o dos días antes de Chuseok. En la mañana del
Chuseok, mi familia hace una ceremonia especial para recordar a nuestros antepasados. Después de esto, tenemos una gran
comida, y nos damos pequeños regalos. Por la noche, tenemos una buena cena. Después de la comida, jugamos juegos o vemos
televisión. ¡Hay muchos programas de TV divertidos durante Chuseok!

In Peru, we have a holiday called "All Saints Day". Usually, it takes place on the first day of November. It is a holiday to
remember our relatives who have already died.
Many people visit cemeteries with their families. Each family brings offerings and music according to their traditions to the
graves of their relatives. In my family, we prepare my grandfather's favorite food before going to visit him at the cemetery. In
the morning, we left early from home. When we arrive at the cemetery, we go to a small mass. After this, we eat and talk about
our experiences.
In the afternoon, we return to our house. At night, we have a great dinner and we put beautiful flowers to the photograph of
my grandfather. I think it's a good way to remember the people we love the most.

En Perú, tenemos un día festivo llamado "Día de todos los santos". Por lo general, se lleva a cabo el primer dia de Noviembre. Es
un día festivo para recordar a nuestros familiares que ya murieron.
Muchas personas visitan los cementerios con sus familias. Cada familia lleva ofrendas y musica según sus tradiciones a la tumba
de sus familiares. En mi familia, preparamos la comida favorita de mi abuelo antes de ir a visitarlo al cementerio. En la mañana,
salimos temprano de casa. Cuando llegamos al cementerio, nosotros vamos a una pequeña misa. Despues de esto, comemos y
conversamos sobre nuestras experiencias.
Llegada la tarde, regresamos a nuestra casa. Por la noche, tenemos una gran cena y ponemos lindas flores a la fotografía de mi
abuelo. Pienso que es una buena manera de recordar a las personas que mas amamos.
